How you may ask?

Simple:
1) Blow out MSU by about 40
2) Beat #1 LSU by any score (yes I know you are thinking Bama swamped Arkansas, but Bama couldn't beat LSU so if Arkansas does beat LSU they will have done something noone else could do this year.

They would have to be in serious consideration IF they were to do that and then beat Georgia in the SEC Championship.

The issue with that is that LSU will have done something that no one else has been able to do either: beat Bama. And Bama will have done something that no one else has been able to do either: Beat Arkansas. So then we are back to the beginning. I think LSU would still have to go because of their wins over Oregon and West Virginia.

They would be 7-1 SEC with a win over LSU and a loss to Bama

Bama would have to beat Auburn to then also be 7-1

LSU would be 7-1 by virtue of the supposed loss to Arkansas.

Need an expert to break this tie to see who goes to Atlanta.

Thats my point. It would get crazy, and two teams would get screwed. But I agree that Arkansas would definitely need to be in the discussion. Everyone talks Bama and LSU right now, but if Arkansas were to win they should be right in the talk. I feel like they would still unjustifiably be kinda put on the backburner since they have been in the background the whole time. I say we just go ahead and end their hopes tomorrow.

If that's the case, the head-to-head winner between the top 2 advances.<div>
</div><div>In all likelihood, LSU and Alabama are still the top 2 if Arkansas beats LSU, so LSU advances.</div><div>
</div><div>If Arkansas wins in a blowout, it's possible the voters could drop LSU to 3rd of those 3, or even Alabama, so it's still uncertain.</div>

I think there's a better chance of AR blowing us out than AR beating LSU.

in BCS games. So I certainly hope they do not get into that picture. They would embarrass us like they did last year.

You think if Arkansas, who if they beat us will be no worse than #5, beats #1 LSU, that Arkansas will still be behind LSU?? There's no way that happens. You might see 3 SEC teams in the top 4 at that point, but LSU will be the lowest one.

If Arky wins, it will be by no more than two touchdowns. I think our D is decent enough to hold it tight.
