Just saw on Mr. SEC that Arkansas is changing the shade of it's colors from PMS 200 to PMS 202, which IMO looks a lot like maroon. Hopefully Adidas is not their apparel supplier...

Don't worry. Their jerseys will be totally different. They will have 3 shoulder stripes.

Why are they changing?

Normally our merchandise that you see in stores is all different shades of red depending on who makes it. We're just trying to stay consistent...our official color is cardinal but south carolina's is garnet and it's the same tone as ours now so who knows. Our uniform color from the past two years will stay the same though, they're a little darker than our 2006 and 2009 uniforms. We switched to Nike after 2009.

We're getting new uniforms that will be unveiled during the spring game so they'll be different, but the same color as last year. Bielema wants to go back to more traditional uniforms like we had in the mcfadden era

From the State site ...

"The official colors for licensed products are PMS 505 (maroon) and white. PMS 202 should be used for all printed publications such as brochures, letterhead, business cards, etc. The accepted maroon for the Web is RGB 102,0,0 or hex #660000."

Looks to me like Arkansas is headed to the same color as USCe. To me, most Texas A&M stuff looks like a darker maroon than we use. Their site calls it ... Aggie Maroon™. Which is Hex: 500000 RGB: 80,0,0 ... on their site, it reallly looks like a lot of purple tones in it.</SECTION>

A) For print, the signature can appear in one color: Pantone 202, gray, b lack. For the Web, it must be #660000 (maroon). For licensed merchandise, use Pantone 505
