Big loss for us. Helps us in the standings. If we could somehow win in Nashville, that will be huge. I'm calling it now. We get out of our 3 pt slump.

until the SECT. Clarke was 4-6 from 3. And from the box score, looks like Washington had his way with UM's interior guys.

Any decent offensive big man will have his way with our interior when it's Holloway, Cranston's sorry ***, and Henry. Those guys won't get it done. Buckner gives us a chance down low.

at 3-3,UPig is only a game back with Fla and Kentucky already out of the way...they may very well fall apart, but they are dangerous...

And save the Pelphrey sux crap

Good to see Pelphrey improve his two year SEC record to 5-17.

as bad as he sucks, is 3-4 against the great Rick Stansbury...and these two could meet again in the SEC Tourney...the entire SEC West is holding their breathe awaiting the next time these coaching giants go head to head

and say what you want, he was the better coach the other night in FayetteNam in front of those 19 fans thatwere presentour game

he did have to start over with 5 new starters last year...he definitely deserves to be judged on this season...he cant help what he inherited in 2008

Was Stansbury the better coach the previous 3 games where we beat Arkansas? Just trying to get a handle on your logic.

Note:I agree that Stans did a crappy job in Fayetteville but Pelphrey is nowhere close to being labeled a good coachuntil he starts winning like he should at Arkansas.

not great- good...rebuilt last year...and now should be judged on how he does this season...

There are plenty on here saying expectations were too high for our team because it was based on Sidney playing- yet Pelphrey had to play 14 games without Fortson...I'm curious to see how they do down the stretch...they have the remaining schedule to have a shot at the West

it sure looks like pelphrey is 2-4 against stansbury since coming to arkansas. it also looks like he's 2-8 against stansbury overall.

and then he totally had to rebuild last year...he has had injuries and suspensions this season, and I'm not excusing that. I'm saying he should be judged on this season. They have a chance to salvage their season. Thats all I'm saying. Nowhere did I say he was better than Stansbury or anything of the sort- I said it will be interesting to see how it plays out the rest of the way

Ya'll are starting **** for no reason tonight

In his first year at Arkansas Pelphrey finished 3rd in the West, lost 14 games, and got a 9 seed in the NCAAs. You called that a "good year". Does this mean expectations at Arkansas are lower for you than at Mississippi State?

that make me remind you and Meo of dumb **** you say, as I did on Saturday about our "efficient offense". In no way did I want anall out breakdown of Pelphrey- I saidthe Westwould be interesting to watch the rest of the way with their schedule. Pelphrey didnt lose 14 games either numbnuts, he went 23-12 and got bounced by 1 seed NC in round 2 in his first season....3rd in the West? So what? All that is for is for seeding in the SEC Tourney. Tourney season, rebuilding, now results are needed. I am curious to see how they finish out this season- they have Auburn and LSU twice, Mississippi, SC, and Vandy at home, winnable game at Georgia, road games at Bammer and Tennessee....at 3-3, you have to admit they could possibly make it interesting down the stretch..

Stansbury has had some good years- never said he didnt. I have said, and probably a million times, that we will never have a great year under Stansbury. He even managed to ruin 2004, but it wasnt all bad with an SEC title.

You have got to get overthis "success in the West" crap.Basketball is not football or baseball- success in the West doesnt mean you have accomplished a damn thing in basketball- hell, look at the standings today- that tells it all.

My bad. He was 23-13. Also his overall SEC record is a whopping 14-24 now. Next to maybe Jeff Lebo he has the worst win percentage in the SEC. You do realize that Arkansas plays in the SEC West, the division that you repeatedly call weak? I am just stupified how you can consider him a good coach with that track record.

with last year's 2-14...he had to totally rebuild in just his 2nd year and replace all 5 starters, losing the 5th after recruiting season was over...and before you say Stansbury had to rebuild in 2006, I agree with that, but was a little harder for UPig because Opie hadbeen there only 1 year...5-11....2-14...not much difference...especially when you take into account they played Texas and Oklahoma in OOC, and our OOC was horrendous...

I am saying judge him on this season- repeat, on this season...they will sweep LSU- 5 wins...split at worst with Auburn- 6 wins..could possibly win all 3 of SC, Vandy, and Mississippi at home- thats 9 wins

all I'm saying is- it could get interesting
