Arky View on Miss State

Mornin' Bulldog fans!

My buddy and I have a blog over here in Little Rock, and we're going through the SEC teams for a preview before camps open. Today is Miss State's day.
We just went through a transition year, and it's tough. I like Mullen a lot, though. I think he'll be succesful. Give him a year to switch over, and you'll like the product I think.

Give 'em hell this year, Dogs.

Just so you'll know, we're just a couple of guys havin' some fun. This is a completely independent website, and we don't make a dime.

we beat Georgia Tech or Florida. We could beat Arkansas, however.

We'll probably go 4-8, but that's the only thing you got right.

No success since 1998 - 1999 and 2000 were better teams than '98. You should have said no success since 2000.

Kentucky is an important game - but far from a must -win if we are going to be a bowl team.

Houston will probably beat us. Auburn, Vanderbilt, Kentucky and Arkansas are all at least as winnable as Houston.

Well, in his defense, if you have any kind of website, magazine, sports show, etc. in Rkansas. You have to make all topics center around the Pigs. Otherwise, their fans simply don't care. Their fans are the self-absorbed chick you try to have a conversation with. However, no matter what topic. The conversation always leads back to her.

But yeah. About 80% of their fan base is psycho, ex-lover type crazy about Nutt. If Nutt had a rabbit, it would be boiled. Hell, they shot one of Nolan Richardson's horses when he left.

I enjoyed it.

Good overview. 4-8 is about right.

You're being too kind with "ultimately mediocre Sylvester Croom"

What I want to know has your fans figured out who Anthony Dixon is?

Thanks for going to check us out, gang. We really try to give an honest look at the teams, even though we cannot help but be a little jaded in favor or Arkansas.

Appreciate the feedback

By the way, we are self-absorbed but no more than anyone else. In our defense, there is only one big school here. Even folks that go to Ark State still root for the Hogs on Saturdays.
