Statement from the office of President Hayes:
After the Armed Forces Bowl, the Mississippi State and Tulsa teams confronted each other in what was a mostly peaceful congratulatory exchange. Although, a few players exchanged in fisticuffs, the majority of players were peaceful and gracious. I congratulate the Bulldogs on a hard fought victory and condemn the actions of a very few.
