No you were bad luck lol after all y´tulsa needs to schedule Bixby ba jenks and Owasso and they would lose against All 4 teams individually or the best players of each on one team lol

I’m not ready to turn on Lamb. Any coach who beats OSU two years in a row is good in my book. But we need to clean things up.

The terrible play calling...

He doesn't have it. Hope I am wrong.

Baylor was screaming at the coaches after that last series "We shouldn't be here"

Not saying it's off the rails, but the coaching staff hasn't been up to the talent level this team has.

Fire Lamb.
Go to FCS for football.
TU football is a joke.
Yeah, i always want to believe. but idk. we haven't been relevant for a bit now. we beat OSU. which is just a massive fluke and no idea how that happened. we put up zero fight against arky. and we can't get by the army's of the world anymore. bleh.

glad baylor has some fire. i agree with him. i think we have some decent players that a decent coach could scheme for. there are some good moments. but allowing a block punt in that situation? can't hit a 40 yd FG? can't get 1 first down in 2 drives to ice the game?

I'll never understand why we can't get a kicker that can make 50+ yarders consistently, let alone 40 yarder. FCS teams have kickers that can do that, do we just not recruit that position?

How hard is it to get a decent kicker? Junior high kids make that FG. This guy also cost us the game at Navy because he can't make a FG
Up to now I have given the freshman kicker some slack. But now he has had multiple important misses. Decent leg but accuracy is always more important than range.

He is 5/7 on fg and 24/26 on extra points. He has the third least fg attempts in our league so it's probably not accurate to say this is where he will stay over the next 4 games. So we probably shouldn't take his percentage as the bible yet. But he is the 11th place kicker in extra point %, and the 11th place kicker in fg%. There was 5 kickers in the 80's in %, 6 including ours in the 70's, and one in the 60s.

Finally seeing this thread

Lamb needs to know his seat is hot. Tulane will kill us next week.
It’s 6 wins and a petty bowl or he’s out or I’m out.
He gets ZERO credit for beating a bad OSU team last year and an unprepared overheated team this year.
I’m one donor that will designate my donations to basketball.

Only Major Applewhite from Houston and Sanford from Western Kentucky got the trigger pulled after two seasons or less and averaged more or equal wins than we would have, over the last 15 years. We would have done it after 2 seasons with Wilson & Lamb two coaches in a row. No G5 program has done that in the last 15 years. Concerns would be raised if we pulled the trigger with Lamb right after Wilson. That screams bad decisions and/or program in deep trouble, with no leeway on a coach to get it figured out. That's suicide.

You’ve threatened to be “out” several times over the years. Only say it if you mean it.

Last comment on this nightmare...

But, seems like the TE position has missed a lot of key blocks this year. Perhaps I'm mistaken but it sure seems like it. Tough to win when folks don't hold their assignment.

I say it a bunch myself, it's to blow off emotions after a tough loss. Especially now that I am older and the chances to get back to a bowl game are fewer.

It was way worse in person than watching on TV I can tell you that...

There’s no way that I would ever quit going to games just because we lost a couple. 60+ years and can still count the misses on one hand.
