ASSETS: Runs very good routes and may be one of the best at catching the ball at its highest point in the country.
AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT: Would like to see him practice and play with a little more fire in his belly.
WHAT WAS MOST IMPRESSIVE IN THE GAME: His TD catch which he reached over the defender and hauled the ball down with one hand in the third quarter.
CONCLUSION: Should make a great slot receiver that has enough speed to also play outside and go deep. He is just so dangerous catching the ball over the middle and in traffic. His recruiting should get very intense over the next month.

i think we have a 50/50 chance with him.

I think this is a kid, who is not going anywhere unless his dad approves. Seems like his dad is one of those parents that to get his son you have to put up with him also.

I never post over here but I do come over to here to read your board alot. I don't know much about this situation but I do know that I sat by Pat Patterson's dad at the Cotton Bowl on Friday. He drove up from San Antonio to watch Ole Miss. With that being said, I didn't annoy the **** out of him by asking him a million questions about his son's recruitment but his dad loves Ole Miss and their offense. I asked him about State and what he said was pretty funny an answer that I will not repeat. So I guess we will see on signing day!!

He carved "OM #1" in the tree in my front yard, so I know he's going to Ole Miss. I also gave him an escalade, and took him to my hunting camp in the hill country.

we stopped at a truck stop because we both had to ****. Of course, we had a stall in between us but while giving one last grunt, he broke into Hotty Toddy. Bad or good sign for Ole Miss, I don't know.

go to Ole Miss, and that's OK. I mean I wish he would come here, but we still have a much better recruiting class, and we've filled our needs pretty well. Bumphis may not be quite as good, but we might need him more. And we HAVE to get a good QB in here.

I'm OK with not getting him, as long as we get Bumphis. If we lose both, that's going to hurt.

I think, regardless of who we hired, Croom and Stringer pissed the Patterson family off enough to make it almost impossible to get him. If we close with Bumphis and Thames and hold the rest of the commits I'll be happy with this class. If we can somehow add Phillips and the scat back that's commited to USM (can't remember his name) it would be that much better.

There, I fixed it for you.

Still beating that drum? Please let the State fans discuss OUR recruiting class without injecting your 2 cents. Thanks.

Y'all should be signing Bumphis. We won't be.

As for Patterson, gotta watch out for Bama on this one but we should get the Jr. there regardless.

The thread was a funny read above, but Patterson Sr. was at the Cotton Bowl....just to clear that up.

But Mullen did piss off the Pattersons that night.

He may have smoothed things over, but he did get kicked out of their house.

I'm sorry that you like to believe everything that Gene and Rosebowl say.

As I have said before, none of the information about the Patterson visit is from Yancy or any of the Ole Miss site writers, so don't try to play that card.

I never said your story was anything but accurate. Unlike you, apparently, I wasn't at the Patterson home the night of Mullen's visit. As for what Gene and Rosebowl say, I don't buy into their **** either. Please show me where I have used either of those clowns as sources or claimed their info is accurate. Until I read quotes from any recruit I don't take anything in the recruiting game as the truth.

The point is you look for any reason to inject your opinion in every recruiting thread when it isn't warranted, which it really never is. Patterson will probably end up at OM. Congrats. Now get over yourself.

Since you seem to know so much about our coach's visit to his house, make it real and tell us your source and who you are. Might make your Vanilla Face self more bonifide.

Thank God we have cleared that up. I was asking EVERYONE I know where Pat Patterson's dad was the other day. You are a borderline pederast.

You don't think that, knowing that Mullen was visiting his house that night, people would ask the dad about how the visit went on the next day and then the story made the rounds? Really? You think its all a secret thats only known to the family and the coaches?

I never thought we would get back in the mix with him.

ETA: The rumor about his ACT score came from someone within NCHS.

doesn't mean that other people write poorly.

Runs very good routes and may be one of the best at catching the ball at its highest point in the country
it's quite obvious that "its" refers to the ball, and therefore, the highest point is the ball's highest point, not the country's highest point. if he had said "the highest point...", then you'd be right. but he didn't./
