I swear if we get the 11 am CBS game I will explode.

Does anyone know the order? I can't find it. Is it CBS picks first (2:30 p.m.), ESPN picks second (6 p.m.) and CBS picks third (11 a.m.)? I believe on Nov. 11 double header (2:30, 6), CBS picks first and second.

That is....nuts.

If you're CBS, how do you choose a top pick between Auburn @ State, UM @ A&M, and UGA @ Mizzou without knowing who wins this weekend?

I'm willing to be they have data on the different markets to aid their decision-making. Also, CBS seems to love Texas A&M so I can see them picking UM @ TAMU.

Anyone have any insight as to what TV slots ESPN has for SEC on any given weekend? For instance, ESPN SEC almost always has the primetime night game, and lately has given SEC the noon slot. But, some weekends, SEC gets ESPN and ESPN2 night games, while the B1G gets the noon game.

Lets say CBS goes Mississippi @ aTm 330, then ESPN has 2 and 3 slot: Any way ESPN2 could come in to play with a night game, avoiding SEC competition w/CBS at noon? Maybe someone can dig up stats on which ESPN networks have which games when CBS owns noon and 330, historically?

In that case, if we were told LSU @ UF was going to be primetime ESPN, i'd be perfectly happy with a ESPN2 primetime game. *This may not be possible now that SECN exists

I'm not 100% sure but HailStateFB tweeted that the tv selections would happen today. Wouldn't they already announce the hold?

Well, you don't pick UGA-Mizzou for one thing, so it's down to MSU-AU and A&M-UM. I bet we get 2:30 CBS vs Auburn.

I didn't want to include them, but stranger things have happened. What if UM loses badly to Bama, LSU beats Auburn, and A&M squeaks by us? UM will plummet in the polls and be a massive underdog, while the UGA vs Mizzou game is the current de facto SECE championship game.
My expectation is the 2:30 slot for us, but since we're at 11 AM this week, I'm not confident of anything when it comes to TV times.

Other than 11 AM, is there a time slot we do not want?

I'm guessing everyone prefers a night game, myself included, but I wouldn't hate the 2:30 CBS.

Thoughts?

I think technically it's SEC Network, but obviously that would also be ESPN.

Anything but 11am. I agree 2:30 would be fine since we haven't had a home game on CBS in awhile. Added bonus, I'd be at the game and wouldn't have to hear Lundquist and Danielsons moronic commentary.

No team in America gets the benefit of the doubt more than Georgia. Begin every stinking season ranked in the top 10 and favored to win the East, why the hell not. Lose a game, and stay in the top 10...sure!
If there's any chance they get to be the CBS game, they probably get it.
