Who has watched the fourth season all of the way through? I am on episode 4 and so far it is kind of dragging. I have read on a few other board that it really picks up after five episodes or so, and was curious what the sixpack had to say, at least tose of you who have seen it

I've watched the first four episodes

It does drag at times, but I think part of the problem is the focus on the individual characters. Part of what made the show funny is the inclusion of the entire family. Also, I haven't gotten to Gob, Buster or Lucille's episodes yet.

I've watched the entire fourth season, and trust me it gets better. It takes a few episodes to understand what is going on, and the twists and great AD writing start showing up later. Also, the episodes that focus on Gob and Tobias are later, and they're the funniest characters to me. I recommend watching the first four episodes over again after you watch the entire season. You'll get a lot more of the jokes and will notice a lot more is going on then meets the eye.

I couldn't get into the first few ones but it really picked up. You don't see much of maybe, buster or george michael thru the first part of the season. It still wasnt as good as the originals and I didn't like the way it ended but there are some good moments and some funny references to past seasons. I do miss gob's puppet though.

Just starting the fifth episode

The fourth one was definitely my favorite of the first four

I've had trouble getting into it too. I'm glad to hear it gets better though, it was the only reason I got netflix this summer.

Because it left it kind of open.

A fifth season is being talked about...

...but if not they do plan on closing everything out with a movie

Very glad to hear this. The wife and I watched the first two episodes and neither one of us were real impressed.

Just know that you aren't supposed to get some things yet. For example, when Lindsay and the cabbie yell some random, inexplicable insult at a passing car, it makes no sense. You'll probably think "WTF did they just say? That makes no sense." Don't worry. They'll cover it later.

Like I said, rewatch the first few episodes after you finish the season. Give it "A New Start", if you will.
