It seems that our state university to the south can't afford to have an athletic budget so instead they force season ticket sales on all students and realy on state funding in order to meet their athletic budget needs. Here's an idea - Stop adding on to a stadium that you can't fill up and no more complaining that MSU and UM won't play you in football. You can't meet your budget, DOWNSIZE.

I know that UT also has a required payment you make as part of your tuition that goes towards the athletic budget to cover tickets. They don't charge any extra for student tickets. I'm pretty sure that both MSU and Ole Miss also have a portion that goes from tuition to the athletic budget to cover tickets. You just have to pay extra on top of that to get your seats.
