They should have at least landed Delgado in the deal. If you are a Braves fan, you have to be thrilled with this deal. Shafer wasnt going to have a starting spot anyway and you kept your big 4 starters in the minors.<div>
</div><div>Bourn was always a more valuable player to an established team than Pence, he just doesnt get the press because he doesnt have any power. </div>

I would have rather had Pence, but I like what we gave up for Bourn.

I just don't know if he will continue to hit like he has.

I've got Bourn in fantasy and I am an avid user of BVP to set my lineup. So many times this year, Bourn has gone 2-4 or better against a pitcher where his BVP was 2-17 or something like that. I have actually started ignorning that stat for Bourn. That, gives me the hope that he has turned a corner with hitting and he will be a .290 hitter going forward.

makes landing him the better deal in my opinion. I loved Pence and will miss him, but more because he was such a scrappy player and was very consistent. He is most likely at his ceiling.<div>
</div><div>The Astros are going to be in hot water if they can't turn Wandy and Myers into something decent this offseason. In moving their best two players during a sellers market, they only got one potential middle of the order bat in Singleton and one potential front line starter in Cosart (with a lot of question marks there). They have some good players in the minors but no real sluggers. I just think Ed Wade screwed this one up royally. </div>

And yeah, the Yankees were gonna paid 21 of Wandy's 38 mill and we said newp. I don't forsee someone taking on that entire contract.
