Saw an interesting tweet this morning, that says CBS can only pick one more Alabama game this year. Evidently, they can only show each school 5 times per year. So if that's correct, probably means that the Egg Bowl will be a CBS game as well.

Hmm, very interesting indeed. Conventional wisdom would say this would be the Bama game to pick, but it wouldn't suprise me at all if they held out for the Iron Bowl.

They already pissed away a top 5 matchup with Ole Miss/Auburn, can't see them giving another one away when it's possible you could have a couple of two loss teams playing for second place. Hell, Auburn could lose to Georgia.

was a player...not real good one at that...but never a coach.

Nope. CBS has 9 more years on the contract. Although I have seen speculation the SECN may make an offer to buy them out in a couple of years.
