since that thread got locked......

I found that picture years ago and put it on the web for comment.

Robert Khayatt went apeshit crazy and called not only Malcolm Portera, but Roy Kramer too, demanding that picture be removed. Portera called me and asked me to take it down from my private web page because of the shitstorm it was causing.

None of these three dipshits noticed anything below the word Oxford.

and that it was caused by a call from Khayatt to Roy Kramer makes it even better.

Forget about the billboard pic completely, let's go another direction.

1) Can you agree that the Klan would only protest in places where people were doing the opposite of what they wanted people to be doing? For instance, what good does it do them to hold a rally in obvious Klan country? Everyone already believes what they believe, so why preach to the choir. Meaning that they don't hold rallies, march and protest in places where racism, segregation and hate already exist because it's a waste of resources. If white people already hate black people in "random southern town" USA, they don't need to march because the people in that town already believe the same things they do.

2) Assuming the above is accurate, they marched in Oxford because they were trying to affect change. They held the rally in Oxford because they know we accept all colors, races, creeds, nationalities and religions. They held a rally in Oxford because they dislike what we're doing up there. They held a rally in Oxford because they want us to be more like them. To me, that's a win for us. Of course, I'm NOT saying that I'm glad they held the rally, and I'm NOT saying that I want them back all the time. I'm simply suggesting that pissing off the Klan is a good thing. And we pissed them off.

3) Is Starkville a safe haven for the Klan? Do they think that most of you believe the same things they do, therefore they don't feel the need to march or rally to effect change?

I just can't believeyou would spend that much time thinking on how to respond to the fact that the KKK chose Ole Miss. I think they chose Ole Miss because they thought you dumb *** drunk Frat boys would join in and Ole Miss has a provenhistory of bigotry.

how long ago was it that the famous white supremacist was hanging out in the grove and all the frat boys and sorority girls were lining up to have their pics taken with him?

But, yeah, you're right, the Klan only comes to Oxford because everyone there is so enlightened.

If they thought as much, they found out quickly they were wrong and left after a very short time to avoid more embarrassment.

using his logic, Oxford is the only city in America who welcomes people other than whites. I never knew SF, NY, etc were so racist...
I've only heard of them protesting in their safe haven strongholds. But that's just me.
It's like good old revivals. They don't hold them anywhere but in churches. To REVIVE the congregation.
He did try hard to use his "logic" though, didn't he?

That's the fun of a rivalry.

I always say it's the hate that makes the SEC such a great league. Hate is the gasoline that fuels the success car that is this league. Hate away.

I hate all other SEC schools, some less than others, but I reserve at least some hate for everyone.

Fires, bombs, deaths, National Guard; if it wasn't for the wacko media being against Ole Miss all the footage of the white supremists singing "***-ba-ya" with James Meredith would have been recorded.

I have a copy of a photo taken from theKlan rally in Oxford. They had a big turnout, which is exactly what they wanted. The Klan accomplished what they wanted and then left.
