Not sure how it really makes a difference for UK football since he wasn’t on the team any longer.
The 2019 in-state class (which is like winning a tallest midget contest), is projected to be the best in years and the first six off the board are pledged elsewhere. In other words, their rivals are using this incident against them and they are getting crushed.

Their rivals are saying “hey, UK had a bad apple who got arrested. if you go to UK you’ll end up like him.”
That’s dumb, man.
College football recruiting can seem dumb to some folk. A lot of these kids are coming from rough neighborhoods. The narrative to Mom is, those dealers in your neighborhood that you've gone to such great links to not expose your son to. They have those on the football team at UK.
You can believe it or not, that's your choice. But when a UK insider goes on his top-rated state-wide radio show and says as much and UK reassigns its top recruiter to be the lead on those in-state kids, it is safe to assume it is a real thing.

Does it count for Fulmer Cup points? He was still on the team when he was arrested. The charges are only being announced this week.
