I have Bulldog clients and friends. Well, let me be the first to congratulate you on picking up Patterson. This according to long time client and friend and operative in Noxubee County who I talked to tonight. He claims our staff knows. Says that's why we are pursuing Brown and Scruggs and so hard. I have faith he knows what he is talking about. I asked him if there was any chance of Patterson changing his mind. His response was "well he might be swayed because he is a dumbass, but unless something I can't fathom happens, he will be a Bulldog, sorry." I hate it, but I believe my source. As a side, I could give a flying %#+! about Bumphis, Thames, Smith, Russell, Cox or any of the other Mississippi kids ya'll got except Boyd and now, supposedly, Patterson.

I should also add that there is an article on Bulldog Blitz saying Bumphis, Thames and Patterson are signing their letters of intent together on TV. It seems odd that they would get together and sign at different places since they all go to different highschools.

information I got from someone who is well connected in Noxubee Co. and knows the Patterson's better than I. I will admit I have only met the family once a couple of years ago and don't have inside info to the family proper. I do have a close relationship with the family friend who told me this. So keep your haha's to yourself. Until tonight I thought that Patterson was a stone cold lead pipe lock to Ole Miss. But as a former attended to State, I had rather your paranoid, inane, and quixotic fanbase get cheer for him the next few years than Bama.

If certain characteristics of a minority of members of a fanbase applied to all, then it would be safe to assume that you are a pretentious, condescending douchebag. We both know that wouldn't be fair.

ETA: Thanks for the info.

I like the info but I am not gonna buy till I see it. I just find it hard to believe that we made up that much ground that fast. These past few weeks we have been all but eliminated judging from his comments unless its all been smoke and mirrors like god himself Brad Krayer has been saying.

but, that response pissed me off for some reason. I guess because until tonight I thought he was wrapped in Red and Blue. Something changed him and I don't think it was Mullen. I smell Hughes, ala DeAndre Brown. </p>

I was hoping that once Hughes was hired, it would put us back in the picture since they had established a relationship during his recruitment for USM. Maybe it did.

dubmasses that have been talking about how much of a thug this guy is and how glad they are that he isn't coming to state will say? I'm sure it'll be something intelligent. Or they will claim that he is the best player in the state and that he is a class guy and that they couldn't be happier he's coming to state.

This would be one hell of a pickup, and it sure would piss off the Ole Miss recruiting followers.

Me thinks you're just trying to get the board worked up. I still think it's more likely than not that Pat ends up at OM but I'd be ecstatic if we can land him.

Yea, this is when you need Ronny. If Patterson inks with MSU, I'd love to see which posters quickly change their tune on the guy. His "thuggish selfishness" would likely turn into just a "strong confidence".

dont really care either way. I would like to see him sign with state, but after seeing the dontaes and marvin byrdsongs of the world not live up to their five star rating, I dont put a whole lot into recruiting rankings.

because the Ole Miss masses will pick up where some of our idiot fans left off, if he signs with Msu. Like I said a couple of weeks ago when some posters were bashing Patterson, he's a dumbass, but he's not this POS that some make him out to be. And FWIW, I've heard the Patterson to State earlier in the week, but didn't believe it... So I guess we will see Feb. 4th and I can guarantee that the person that told me this, is not the same person that told Czervik, unless he hangs out with what some here would consider "thugs."

I definitely agree. Our masses will pick up the thug mantra if he doesn't come to Oxford. It wouldn't shock me to see Patterson ink with MSU, just because nothing shocks me with recruiting.

Even though it seems what I was told has some legs to it, I still won't believe it until he signs with State. With 2 weeks to go until signing day, you will hear all kinds of crazy ****.

And I would rather he get "Hoddy Toddy"'ed by red pant wearing homos than cheered by Bammers any day. I say, "Stay in MS Pat, we will all love you long time, go to Bama and we will all wish you are the next Jimmy Johns!"

This is a lie. the University of Mississippi feels a historical entitlement to sign the best players in Mississippi.

Therefore when a Mississippi fan names the best in-state players & claims "I could give a flying 17 about Bumphis, Thames, Smith, Russell, Cox..." you instantly know it's a lie on its face.

Therefore if you are going to lie about this, I have to believe you would also lie about Patterson.

Anyway, what happen to the Pattersons kicking the MSU recruiters out of the house?

Or was that just a lie too?

...I think we've gone a whole hour without that Optimus Prime guy reminding us all the current OM studs were rated 2 stars.
