Ashley Judd Turned on at Tourney

You weren't there and neither was I, so we don't know the full nature of the "confrontation", but with morons in this thread saying things like someone should spill their beer on her, it's not unreasonable to think it was antagonistic.

My point was more a general response to that sentiment which has been oft repeated on these forums anyway, not specifically what happened here.

I can understand your point. If Judd had just done her epic rant at the march then everyone should have no beef. However, SHE brought U.K. Into her psychoticness.

And to your point, no one did anything that you are talking about. So until that happens you are kind of blowing things way out of proportion because she identifies with you politically. We weren't there but if this was some heated confrontation we would have confirming witnesses and likely video corroboration. We don't. Because this was nothing. Exacty like 90% of the other false flags. I guarantee It was regular conversation.

But with the way she has lumped all trump voting UK fans as racists and sexists I can't blame anyone who heckles her.

I would ask her why isn't she wearing her ****** hat? Shouldn't you protest the vile patriarchy 365 days/year?

I voted for Trump, so no she doesn't identify with me political views nor I with hers.

My point is that's a bad look, and a worse one than having stupid political beliefs and expressing them in the form of a stupid poem written by a deluded teenage girl and having stupid political twitter spats with UK fans. She shouldn't be harassed just like Ivanka Trump shouldn't have been harassed on that plane; simply being a member of the same group as her, in this case fellow UK fans, doesn't give you the right to harass her at game. Next time, rally up a group and go to her political rallies or wherever she wants to get on her soapbox and heckle her there.

I just hope this hasn't made the national sports shows..we really don't need this type of distraction this week or next..If it has, she has shown herself to be extremely selfish.

Pretty sure she crossed that line long ago... I just wish we could ignore her completely. She adds nothing to UK basketball. I would bet the players these days don't have a clue who she is. Drake coming to Madness was wayyyyyy bigger with respect to impact on the program.

With President Trump coming to Nashville, Ashley needs to lead the protests. If she was to by chance get arrested, that would just be another feather in her cap with the left.

The problem is she uses her fame to make political statements. Generally, people have no idea what the political leanings are of a private citizen. If she is going to politicize her fame then she is opening herself up to being approached in public about her views. If she doesn't want that attention, then she needs to keep her political views to herself. It's really that simple.

She is doing her best to put her name up front in the world of political protest. I bet there is a lot of money to be had from the DNC right now.

Awesome. Love it and completely agree. They're tough when they have a mic and nobody can buffet them. Cry like a baby if someone dare oppose them face to face.

Ahh. Thought you had said otherwise in past my bad.

I agree with you, no one should be bringing anything into basketball or sports. 100%
No her. Not Colin keeper nick. Not Matt Jones. Not tom Brady not LeBron. Etc etc. They are just like celebrities as in we don't care and anyone that rallies around an athlete or celebrity is well off

The problem is she did and continues to do so this is more than likely just another stunt. But no one has done anything like you're talking about. This is a message board, not real life (even though one idiot crossed that line and made this board effect real life recently) so until it actually happens, it's moot.

Some people do take her on with replies on her Facebook page. A lot just pucker up.

I sent her a short message. I just had to refute being compared to either the KKK or Hitler. While I am not perfect I am far from either of her comparisons. Although I have to admit, I wouldn't pee on her if she were on fire.........and I have a weak bladder.......

Dang man, sounds like you came down on her pretty hard. Hopefully you worded it in such a way that you were able to disagree with her, but not in an obvious manner.

I did not get nasty with her.....I refuse to stoop to her level. I didn't even tell her I was a Trump supporter. No use crushing her..........

No disrespect
I think Ashley feeds off the fact that so many of you are so mad...

Nothing is going to change that when UK is playing and she in the house, the cameras will be on her.
UK's #1 fan.
With all due respect, this is a stupid statement...there are MANY of us on here that are much bigger fans than she is, but we just don't have the resources to put ourselves in her positions to attend games...I was with many of them at the Tin Roof in Nville against Alabama that DID NOT have tickets cheering on the CATS!

I sent this to Ashley....WE THE GOD-FEARING CITIZENS OF Big Blue Nation wish to express our extreme displeasure with your choice of Tweets. Please remove it immediately! The fact that you have tweeted that just goes to prove that you are the leading ******* in the BBN!

Matt Jones just took the side against Judd. WOW! Said she was his friend but sometimes it's best not to hit send on your tweet. So there you go libs, one of your apostles has taken the side of truth, justice, and the American way.
He has taken the side of green $$$$$$$$...he may be friends of AJ , but isn't stupid enough to punch holes in his gravy train. My guess is that if truth be known , his feelings are much the same as hers.

That doesn't make it right. It makes it uncivil and uncultured.

Better to defeat bad ideas in the public forum than just be a prick in public.

Man, politics make idiots out of people. On both sides. Who cares what Ashley Judd thinks?

Politics: because you're liberal/conservative and everyone should think the way you think and believe in the things you believe in and if not, they're the enemy.

Yes, no amount of simple inductive reasoning should excuse bad behavior... Daily life doesn't need to become like a YouTube comments section.

Facebook and various types of social media have made a challenge to the assertion above/"political leanings of private citizens".... It's my belief many don't care to hear unsolicited comments made about religion and politics... I like all of you, but really don't care to know what you think about either.

Are you incapable of just not clicking it?

It's gonna get moved but this always makes me laugh and wonder why the heck someone takes time out of their life to complain about something they can just literally ignore. Literally, all you have to do is not click it and not spend the 30 seconds moaning about it. And it's literally always you. Board nazi.
Signed in just to like this post. Bravo. :joy::joy::joy:
