Flying in this Friday morning for the game and have never been. Staying at the Hampton Inn Downtown with 13 other 25-30 year olds.

Simply looking for recommendations on food, booze, places to go within walking distance or short cab ride. Also, since we're a night game, should we hit the bar district before the game or try to befriend some Gators tailgating somewhere?

it was ok. Kind of weird people there. There was a bar to the right of it that was across the street was more sports oriented and we enjoyed it more.

Went last time we played in the swamp. I don't really have any recs, but I think it was the worst SEC road trip I've been to so far. As much as you here about their partying, it wasn't hitting on ****.

Also, I have heard a lot of people say to be very careful about open containers.
Apparently, they give out a ton of tickets on Universtity Ave, or wherever the strip of bars next to campus is.

That city is prettybad ***. I know a couple people from down there one of them being the source that told me Mullen was going to be hired and we were not going to hire Dooley (biggest mistake ever). Also my elusive Petersen source that everyone has been PM-ing me about also lives down there and basically if they live down there then you know its "hitting."<div>
