This was mentioned in another thread, so I thought I would get everyone's opinion.

if you had the choice of ending the season right now with a 3-2 record to finish the year and moving on to the bowl game, OR watching it play out with a possibility at finishing the season 5-0, 4-1, 2-3, 1-4,or 0-5, what would you pick?

10-2 or Wait and See/Hope for more?

What about 2-3? Would you take 9 wins and hang it up too?

Wait and see and hope for 5-0. Now if Bama shreds us I will want to revisit this thread and pick 3-2, in the case that our team sinks everything they have in this game with Alabama and walk into the game against A&M under prepared

If the 3 were Bama, LSU and Ole Miss

then I think I'd take the 3-2, and here's why.

I honestly believe that it would be almost impossible for us to make the NC game, even if we won out. K-State, Oregon and Notre Dame, along with a 1-loss Alabama and a 1-loss Oklahoma would be in our way.

So, if we went 3-2, we'd finish 6-2 in the SEC. We could root for LSU to beat Alabama, which would send us to the SEC Championship game with a 6-2 mark.

That doesn't make any sense... First off... you can't have an undefeated Notre Dame and a 1-loss Oklahoma team ahead of us if we're undefeated since they're playing this week. If we win out, we are absolutely jumping all of the 1 loss teams ahead of us. The problems come with K-State and Oregon at that point.

K-State has the best chance to stay undefeated compared to Oregon especially since they've already played their harder games up to this point. Oregon would also have to more than likely play USC again in their conference championship too. Lastly, if Florida is undefeated and we meet them in the SECCG... how would we not finish the regular season in the top 2? I don't get that...
