Why does everyone think that a sports editor for a college fan page is suddenly Bob Woodward? What nefarious deed is he supposed to uncover? Have you ever seen a Nick Saban presser where he gets a "tough " question or one he doesn't like? And do you think that questioner still has their credentials much longer? Look, I get it, you want to know why Doege is still the starter, why clock management leaves us with no time outs at critical portions of the game, why do plays take so long to get in to the QB and why don't we have any other option at RB and we beat Leddie to death? 1. Doege is still the starter because Crowder is still learning the offense and Greene is not ready yet as he still hasn't mastered all of the defensive reads and offensive progressions. Greene is getting limited playing time and valuable game experience under certain game circumstances. 2. & 3. This is really one question. The offensive alignments have many values based on what defensive schemes develop during the game and as there is an ebb and flow to these situations as some of the calls are very complex and it takes time to send in the signal based on defensive personnel substitutions and possible offensive snap formations. Other times we just *** it up, ok? 4. We thought he recruited some stud RBs, turns out we were wrong. Next question?
