Don’t look now, but our defense has a chance to be pretty good next year.
A&M fans were upset over his departure. Still pulled him after a Tennessee visit yesterday
I think the reports of our demise are greatly exaggerated. The defense will be improved and it looks like the offense will be as well.
I can’t believe that state got a commitment from another offensive linemen like this. What are they doing? I mean, he might leave after one year so why are we recruiting players like this?** /patdog

To be fair, this is not a veteran with production in his resume. This is another no experience O-lineman with “potential”. Also, one of his high school coaches didn’t think he would make it down at LSU. This was before he went. Thought he was too soft and wasn’t tough enough at the moment. Who knows maybe he toughened up. Glad to have him, hell I’m glad to have any linemen.

I agree Lebby's playcalling is atrocious at times. I saw the times where we needed to hold the ball and get a first down, yet 3 incompletions and 15 seconds later, we are punting.
But one stop late against Tennessee or Texas (or UF) sure would have been nice too.
Also apparently beat out Ole Miss for him. Many felt that he was dead set on Oxford. That news alone should give some of you double secret Ole Miss lovers a hard on.

Although I am happy to get these guys for next year, I would have preferred a whole lot more veterans and production filled resumes. It is what it is, glad to have them.

I know for a fact that two weeks before signing day, Ole Miss called one of his high school coaches and offered him $400,000 just for this past season. And he turned it down and still went to LSU. I’m sure we too overpaid here.
