Their pitching has been bad. They’re walking a lot of people. They’re 25th in ERA, 30th in xFIP.
Kind of crazy because their batted ball metrics aren’t bad. They’re among the best in the MLB in hard hit % allowed and barrels allowed.
Must have run out of trashcans at the Houston Home Depots.
The bad karma for all that cheating is finally catching up to ‘em.
Terrible RISP numbers. Every starting pitcher that participated in last year’s postseason was on the DL at one time. Relief pitching a disaster. Hailstate France sent back down to Triple A.
So bad that they pitched a guy at the Texas Rangers park that had never pitched in an MLB game and, with circumstances, was notified a few hours before game time. Poor guy was shaking like a leaf and could not throw a strike. Parents in the stands, terrible. Guy apologized on the mound. You can imagine the mood of the fan base.
