About as good as letting B. Stewart go has done for WVU.
True. I was no fan of Bill Stewart or the way he was hired. But the way he was fired was dirty as well. But it's nothing compared to TTU. The last guy they fired is currently an unbeaten head coach in NFL.

But Bill Stewart would not have made it to the next season as he died of a stroke.

Perhaps Tech should have fired their coach at the end of last season. Maybe WVU would have beaten them this time.

Donate your 20 million and you might get your wish.

...Tech booster and regent Dusty Womble, who just made a $20 million donation to the athletic department earlier this month; former player and oil and gas executive Cody Campbell; former Red Raider running back Sammy Morris, who currently serves as the team's assistant director of player support development; and deputy athletic director Tony Hernandez.

Can't make that kind of donation this year. Range fees have increased and ammunition is way too expensive now!

balls to dump an under performing coach in his third year. Guess they want to be more than mediocre.
Seems to me to be a not so subtle slap at Coach Brown and all decisions related to to him. Even the he wins nicely he has to endure these endless attacks, direct and overt or delivered in a manner where the coward can try to look so very innocent. So people cannot be pleased but also wish to appear as something they really are NOT--in this case I consider being a supporter of WVU and its football program to fit well within that definition. Some people have and exude attitudes hat are so disgusting and disgraceful.. And now I await the rebuttal saying I am so far in the weeds with this one. REALLY? I think I am right on, but the coward will continue to crouch in the shadows and shout his insults from the darkness while trying to appear innocent and unnoticed. (rather typical of a back stabbing coward, I would say.

I will be the first to defend anyone's inability to type coherently, but unlike many places this board allows you to edit your original post. I cannot understand what you have said, maybe you would like to polish the thoughts a bit?

But...

If I get the basic intention you are defending Coach Brown and and challenging the fandom of someone who hints he thinks WVU should be like Texas Tech in his actions.

I wanted coach Brown to be The One for WVU. HE sounded perfect when he was in the process of getting hired and even after he was hired all the news and bits of character he displayed all pointed to WVU having found the architect of future and at Brown's age, maybe that would be a long future.

The first year was a rough one but that is par for the course especially with the intense schedule and the thin roster, but no one cared. I did not.

Then the odd news started coming out. COVID-19 was changing how everything happened and then red flag - Vic Koenig. These were troubling and the product on the field looked far different from what I expected and the payers looked less coached, less skilled and less able than they had the previous year. Worse, they looked soft and tired. The rumors began to swirl about the Vic investigation and the details came out even though WVU tried very hard to keep it under wraps. Total disappointment.

Then High Street. What happened there was unforgivable. You can have an opinion that is from a place of wokeness and if your success is great you might even get away with it for a while. But Brown has been retrograding not getting better. But the one thing you cannot get away is calling West Virginia naturally racist and a bunch of low class hillbillies doing their best and needing help. Of course you can't find any video of that now. WVU has paid to scrub this from the internet. It is all gone, every bit of it except a few snippets that do not show what happened.

Then we entered this season and immediately showed we were not ready and were retrograding even more. Not only was Brown not the right coach, all of his noble qualities of a man with good character had been proven to be a false façade. He was a fraud on the field and off. He, like Dana cannot coach at this level and for that reason alone he needs to go, but like Rich Rodriguez before him you do not attack West Virginians and insult them and hope to stay in their good gracious. I do not care what Brown can do now, he is damaged goods to me and he needs to go.

What Texas Tech did is not something WVU will do because we have a poison in our athletic department that eats up the crap Brown oozes from his character because in many ways Shane Lyons is the reflection in the mirror of Brown. Both need to go and neither will. Brown will live to see next year and then we can burn down his woke culture, his effigy and run him out of town. Maybe before that we toss Lyons on the moving truck too.

LMAO...you actually said "wins nicely" about a football game result! Really? The gibberish you wrote after that pales in comparison to that phrase. Obviously you never played a sport doofus.

You're not in charge. Nothing but a tiny voice on a message board. Start your donation or shut up. It's that simple. What Texas Tech did is earn themselves a losing record for at least 10 more years. Neal Brown is here 5 years no matter what your opinion is.

As with other posts from you what you write here makes little sense (not a surprise, however).
YES, I consider the TCU win a very ‘nice’ accomplishment. From what I believe you were trying to say I gather that most of whst I presented passed over or through your head without the benefit of evens momentary delay. I readily admit that the content of what was presented is substantially beyond the third grade prose that challenges your capacity. As you may notice there a lot of adult folks who have progressed beyond writing in three eord sentences only. I am quite emphatic to those who encounter greater sentence complexity express their frustration to their obvious insufficiencies by terminating ghe encounter and labeling all thst was never understood as ‘gibberish’ . Sad that you are thrust snd stuck in such a dismal state.

More immature gibberish. "Nice accomplishment ". You are just trying to sound stupid right?

Lol at thinking they will have a losing record for more than 2-3 years. I guarantee they beat WVU next year.

I bet they don't.

Tech has had 2 winning records since WVU joined the Big 12 back in the days of Tommy the Tub. Their last one was 2015 at 7-6.

Why does WVU allow their name to be associated with a board that allows racist idiot bigots like Rootmaster- who clearly has no relation to anything WVU - to post endless racist rants?
It is sickening that such ******** is allowed here on what is supposed to be a West Virginia University sports fan forum.

Parents, recruits and coaches and potential coaches read these boards sometimes! Why allow this anti WVU racist clown a platform?
