Best Virginia.

No. 3 seed Best Virginia claimed the Charleston Regional of the TBT by knocking off No. 1 seed Elite Nation 79-68.

James Reese led the West Virginia alumni team with 24 points and the game winning basket as they overcame a double digit second half deficit to rally to claim the region.

Other double figure scorers included Kedrian Johnson with 17 points, JD Weatherspoon with 16 points and Tre Mitchell with 11 points.

Best Virginia outscored Elite Nation 12-4 in the fourth quarter largely spurred by the defensive end to take a 70-63 lead into the Elam Ending to set the target score of 78. From there, the alumni team would close out the game.

Best Virginia will now move onto the quarterfinals where they will host Shell Shock, the Maryland alumni team, July 28 at 6 p.m.
