It would seem that ASU is close to a major population center in an attractive location. They got quite a few open shots....but didn't make ANY of them during the 4-5 minutes I watched them. Utah is good and has multiple guys that can shoot and score off the bounce. ASU was 21-12 and 22-13 the last two years and is 15-12 this year, 7-7 in Pac 12.

I just caught that score. Had to look twice. Makes Nebraska's scores look reasonable.

Arizona State is really bad, and yet they beat Arizona a couple of weeks ago. ASU lost a bunch of seniors from last year's team, plus a point guard who thought he was ready for the NBA. So they were not really expected to be any good this year.

Utah could probably be a Final Four team if the whole tournament was played in the Mountain Time zone. They are absolute monsters at home, not so great on the road.

Is Herb Sendeck still coaching at ASU?

Sometimes I think that AD's have forgotten that they did not fire him...then the season starts and they see Herb coaching and they are like "God...I thought we canned him at the end of last year, didn't we?"
