At this point you have to ask yourself.

In all reality is there any way shape or form Auburn can get out of this cleanly?<div>
<div> This weekend I think I would've said yes as it appeared to be dying down. But holy hell its safe to say now its spiraling out of control. For gods sake TMZ reported that the FBI is investigating the matter. TMZ??? When I think of TMZ I think of paparazzi catching celebs doing stupid **** over in L.A. not covering a college quarterback down on the Alabama plains. Dare I say this has almost gotten bigger than the Reggie Bush saga in less than a week. If you're the NCAA and there is this much exposure around recruiting violations how can they NOT drop the hammer? Hell as someone pointed out on here a few days ago they pretty much butt17ed us with hardly any evidence. Honestly, imagine if this was happening here. I'm pretty sure the tune around campus would be "man we're really screwed...like really REALLY screwed" or maybe thats just the bulldog in me. All I'm saying is anyone who actually believes Auburn can get out of this cleanly seriously needs to reevaluate the situation. To me this is starting to look SMU bad for them and I genuinely mean that. I will say this, Auburn fans have so much delusion it makes Genespage look sane.</div></div>

Sure. If they didn't pay any money. That's easy.<div>

..Last week, I was watching one of those ESPN sports shows where 6 men yell at each other for 30 minutes.

& they all claimed they would still vote for Newton in the Heisman contest, regardless of the allegations.

Of course they are idiots, caught up in their own echo chamber, but I bet they would have second thoughts about that Heisman vote now, considering how this drama is unfolding.

those guys don't care about the "student" part of student athlete. they only care about the product on the field. i actually think most folks are on the same page with them to a certain degree.
