In 2008 I rooted for OM to run up the score to get rid of Croom. It worked, and I feel no remorse for rooting against the Dogs. I’m very close to appreciating these losses to get a real coach in here.

Unless we hire a competent AD, we are not going to get a coach… Cohen had to overpay to get Leach. Cohen isn’t qualified to be AD at Mississippi Valley, much less Mississippi State. Why do you think nobody was knocking down our doors for HC when Mullen left?
I can never root against state. But you get rid of Leach (which isn’t going to happen) are you going to trust Cohen to hire another coach? Cohen can’t hire anybody. At this point we need a new AD. If we have to, let Cohen be a cheerleader for our baseball program but that is all he should be allowed to do
I don't think I'll ever root against State but I'm just about to the point of Croom level indifference.
It’s just so frustrating because you look at out offense and you know we aren’t going to make any adjustments. Leech is far too stubborn, this is what he runs and the results don’t matter.

NEVER. That does not meant that Cohen first, and then Leech, need to be fired. Leech never should have been hired. His scheme is totally against the culture of what MSU football has been in the few times we have had winning football. It does not fit our realistically available personnel. He is a square peg in and round hole and it was NEVER going to work.
Cohen has us back to the LT days just as his mentor he talks to daily is advising him to do.

The coach has a ***** mentality. The team easily has a ***** mentality (Exhibit A is any time the opposing team hits them in the mouth). Why not the fan base follow suit?
I never can understand the fans that are happy when we are as terrible as they said we were. I'm always rooting for Mississippi State nobody what. I just can't understand those who get off on talking about how bad we are. Disappearing during normal threads in normal times Monday through Friday. Then here they come posting every time we are ****** to just reinforce the fact that they said we were going to be ****** to begin with to the point that it almost feels like they're glad that we are ******.

We have plenty of season left to win a game we aren't supposed but it's gonna still sting bc if we do reach six wins with a win over a ranked team our bowl game will be a tier lower from this shitshow. A'll I wanted was a replay and maybe they would have saw the 2 #4's and called a penalty even though they can't at that point but they sure did it to us.
I take the heck out of that right now. Leech ain't sniffing Atlanta unless he is out bar hopping whn somebody else is playing.
I too will cheer for us in everything we do forever. I take some home from this game. We never gave up. We never quit. Leach made one bad call, not to kick the FG. But other than that it took an absolute screwjob from the refs and terrible OL play from us for them to win. Either fair refs or Mason Miller being barely competent at his job and we win. Summer patriots can 17 themselves.
I'm not going to root against them ever but I've wrote my last check to the BDC for anything football related. I almost didn't renew this year but hated to let my tickets and parking pass go but I'm done. Mullen gave us hope, he made us believe but it's imploded.
LSU is a bad football team right now. That is absolutely a winnable game. We may not win it, but it’s entirely possible that we do.

LSU is currently leading the nation in sacks. I'm guessing we'll have lots of illegal procedure and holding calls next week

I don't like Leach or his offense, but I enjoy having a team that can score points in a hurry when it needs to. With the right QB this can be an entertaining offense. They won't ever challenge for the division title, but they can be entertaining.
Speaking of Oline, when they allow a sack or a free runner to plant our qb, isn’t it customary for them to help him up? I saw multiple times they’d be standing right there looking at him and watch him get up without even a hand. Is that normal nowadays or is something else going on?
17 you. It is one game and I’m pissed too, but we are affecrively in year 1 because of covid. This hurts regionally, but the NC St win means more nationally

Regardless, this isn't Leach's 1st year. Last season happened.
After today I'm really not sure that Mike Leach's offense is what we need but we have run the ball and run the ball and run the ball since I was born and we haven't won ****. Croom ran the ball all the time and we complained that he would never mix it up. The Air Raid Offense may not be the answer but we got to do something other and just run the damn ball and history proves it.
It's almost like you're saying I'd rather lose running the ball than throwing the ball.
