At what point would you pull Dak tomorrow?...

If we get up by 20 in the first half like we did USM - he doesn't play another series.

I say he plays into the 3rd Q but once he hits 4 TD passes and 300+ yards pull him.

If they're up big at the half, take him out.

Let williams get some reps with first team in the third quarter and then put in second team for late third/fourth quarter.

I'd play it a lot like last week. Give Williams one series in the 1st half (but with the starters) and pull Dak after the first series of the 2nd half, if we're up by 4 TDs.

Nooooooooo!!! Cannot under any circumstance play 1Bs. Too cute, stupid,

smartass, headscratching, over-coaching, not approved by message board coaches.

A head coach should never keep a promise he makes players who aren't starters. It's too hard on the fans.

if there is any truth to any injury (obviously would have been minor), i'd want him out sooner than later.

i expect to see something similar to how we played southern in that we will likely score twice and then see Damian and the 2's come in. If they are successful and score again, i'd expect Dak maybe 1-2 more drives and then sit him.

Let him get some good experience in against South alabama who should be a little better leading up to LSU. Would be similar to the 3rd game of NFL preseason where starters get the most reps

I would play him in the first half and then pull him if we are safely ahead.

My hope is for another shut out. That would make a statement about our D and the depth we have. Last week it was hard for me to see the difference in D performance after even massive substitutions. I hope the Defense is up enough to do it again this week.

I'd like to see at least one Defense score in the game too. That (another shutout and one D score) would make it a nearly perfect day for the Dogs.

Of course, it would be nice to see two or three TDs by the second string O. My score prediction the other day didn't account for three scores by the 2nd string, or a score by the D but I'd happily be wrong if those things happened.

I will not be shocked if we use a 2 QB system from the get-go. Much like we did with Lee/Relf or Relf/Russell a few years ago.

If Williams has success, I say leave him in even if it's early in the game.

If the pass protection is there I wouldn't mind us keeping the foot on the gas for a while. Let him air it out during the 2nd half - spurrier style. Williams may need the experience but Dak isn't necessarily the most experienced QB in the league either. Let Williams get some snaps in the 4th though.

He plays into the third quarter no matter. Then if they're up by 24, he can rest.

I'm all for giving the offensive 1Bs a series in the 1st Qtr - just run different plays than on the first two drives.

It would not surprise me to not see him play at all. Mullen can not be trusted

when it comes to injury talk*

he plays the entire first half (maybe more depending on score) but should be asked to run even less than the USM game.

Exactly, Dick Cross all but said that yesterday on H to H, either Bonner is lying or Mullen's is.

That said, I've never seen a coach get under the skin of opposing "rival" fans like Coarch Mullens has the Bear fans.

i would play dak like i had originally intended pre-amputation. getting your legs gnawed off by a man-sized beaver can be pretty traumatic, but i think the best way to get him back to speed is to give him some time with his new wooden prosthesis and feel out the speed of the game and treat it just like any other game. if we get a comfortable lead and DW was going to come in anyway, keep to the plan.
