Atmosphere Tonight

[EngDawg]

Well, I was there and the Dude was rocking all night. Really think it made a difference in the 1st inning, as I’m sure that CMU pitcher had never played in such an environment. Good job guys.

I was there too. Great crowd. Everyone was in to it and vocal all night.

Central Michigan is a weird group. They were Maroon-Whiting WITH us lol I guess they are Maroon and white too but it was so odd.

Loved it when Small got pissed at their antics and let the dugout know about it.

I'm watching this Fresno/Stanford game and Fresno is pretty impressive. They are cocky like CMU, but good at baseball.

[Drewbowski]

they are Maroon/Gold

Everyone is looking impressive against the Pac-12 this weekend.

Great job guys, everything looked awesome on TV. Team, ballpark, fans.

I was really proud of the team tonight. We were the better team but you have to go out there and prove it. Small was Small. Loved the emotion. Your funny stuff is ok when you're playing Miami but this is our house. The color guy won me over a little bit when he spoke for Ethan, something like "Hey Yoda, hey Santa - come get you some!"

Bats woke up. Double plays. Outfield plays. Loved how the infield picked Self up. Cohen should have got some TV time if he's personally delivering food to the booth.

[Grove Sh*tter]

It was worth the price of admission just for the eruption of the crowd at the double play that saved the 7th inning.

The atmosphere was spectacular. I wish I didn't have to be at work at 5:15am tomorrow, or I would go tonight.

I think the announcers for our TV games have been really good. The color guy knows his stuff.

This is the only sport where I don’t always sync with the radio broadcast because Jim Ellis can be so slow and dry that it puts me to sleep...I love Jim Ellis by the way.

Don’t let ole miss fans see this thread. They claim to have the BEST atmosphere in college baseball. Seriously though, I was there last night and all
I could think was what it’s going to be like next weekend for a Super. It was the best atmosphere I’ve been too.

[dickiedawg]

I spoke to some CMU fans at lunch today and asked them if they were enjoying Starkville. One of them responded "It's heaven." Talked about the amazing atmosphere last night and said it was "better than Wrigley."

[WilCoDawg]

That doesn’t mean squat until they write a letter to SDN or the CA so that it’s official.***
