Attendance update - Regional

State broke the 50K plateu last night in total attendance, currently sitting around 52K. I would think tonight's game should put us over 60K for the whole series. I believe LSU finished with roughly 38K.

Pretty impressive. Of course, doesn't mean **** if we lose tonight.

It's interesting that LSU reports paid and actual attendance. According to D1baseball, that number for LSU is the actual attendance. Paid would be around 43K. Either way, after 6 games we sit at the top.

The LSU paid attendance is in excess of 60,000 -- they have drawn 10,000 or more paid in all six game so far

Essentially every game is sold out. And since they sell the tickets in books, and you have to have a seat, etc, the number sold winds up being every seat for every game. The variable is there are a small number of SRO tickets they sell.
