If you had home games versus cross-state rival NC State, FSU, Notre Dame, and Vandy among others, and the most you draw all season is 36,000 for the Notre Dame game, how many can you realistically be expected to bring to Nashville for a bowl game? If we stopped selling/buying tickets today, we will out-number these guys 4-1.

Also, I read their press release. It begged their fans to buy tickets from their office and even if you couldn't go, if you could buy the tickets they would donate the tickets to a charity. Based on that, there could be an entire section of homeless disguised as WF fans wondering if a hot dog comes with the free ticket. I'm starting to wonder if Wake Forest is East Coast Slangfor Southern Miss.

And by gold, I mean gold. Not the gold that is really yellow such as what's sported by Mississippi Southern, Green Bay Packers, St Louis Rams, and other teams who can't admit they have yellow team colors.

The state of WF athletics is pretty terrible. I know someone who goes there though and their students are pretty wild, so for those of you who are students or those of you who are not students but plan on going out at night in Nashville, there weren't too many other schools that we could have played that will be more fun associating with. And aside from 60 minutes of game-time, it's about the party right?

I'm happy with it. They'll add to the Nashville nightlife and the stadium on national TV, on a day that no other team plays on mind you, will be covered in maroon. Will look very good for our national reputation and will make decisions a lot easier for bowl selection committees in the future whether we win or lose.

I would have much rather played a 8-4 team or something, but I'm not going to pass on these opportunities.
