The reason there are so many blue tents in the Junction is beacause the blue tents a re cheaper. $49.99 vs. a khaki/white being $99.99 and an MSU one being $129.99+

Just fyi for anybody thinking about getting one of those tents. The tent itself is NOT 10x10. It's an 8x8. They angle the legs outwards so when it's fully extended, the base of the legs are approximately 10x10, but the canopy is much smaller. The difference between a 10x10 (100sq ft) and an 8x8 (64sq ft) is significant. 46% less shade on a hot September Saturday sucks ***.

But in the past, these tents only came in blue, so that's why you see so many blue tents in the Junction. Now they come in maroon. You can still be cheap and not make it look horrible.
