attrition and the football program

It seems like under Mullen, we have had less attrition than most programs. Thinking back from the start of fall practice in 2010, we have lost the following:

Dennis Thames - booted from team
Mike Hunt - quit in the spring
Johnathan McKenzie - quit in the fall
Nick Bell - passed away
Montrell Conner - transferred in the fall
Jeff Howie - quit after spring
Charles Bailey - quit after spring - enrolling at Grambling

Obviously this freed up a few scholarships. For those in the know, I am assuming that we can still only sign 25 (per the new SEC rule). Am I right on this?

Sure would be nice to have Bell, McKenzie and Howie this fall to help defensive line depth.

I think he quit just before fall practice last year... but I don't remember.

those scholarships would most likely go to walk-ons until we hit our 85 limit.
