to put 30 plus on the board against Auburn and if the Mule and Auburn still have a hangover from LSU then the Ole Miss defense (as bad as it is) might be enough to win it. I think it will be close, this is Nutt's kind of game.

that, and the fact that Newton is running it, make for a bunch of points that I don't think the Bears can match.

AU has had back-to-back very emotional games at home and now have to go on the road and face an inferior team that no one will give a chance to win. Since 'trap game' has been the words of the year so far, this is just another classic case of one of those. This game will be a lot closer than most people would think it will be, and I give OM a decent shot of pulling off the upset at home.

This will be just Bama coming in last year, except with more points. Auburn wins by 2 touchdowns........

These kind of offenses give Nix fits, and Auburn's D-line should be in the back field all game long

but I think Auburn will cover -7.

I agree it's the type of offense that Nix seems to have no idea how to stop. On top of that, they one of the best running QBs to EVER PLAY IN THE SEC.

OM will keep it close for a half, but I see Auburn putting up 35+.

Final score 31-20 Auburn.

Cameron Newton is the best running QB to ever play in the SEC. We're only 8 games into the season and he's already set the SEC rushing record for QBs. Let that sink in. It's really an incredible feat.

OK ...this sheep will bite and remain on the island alone .... all teams have an off game durring the season and just maybe this one is it ... ok, maybe it's just wishful thinking but it is with-in the realm of possibility

turf too hard. If Newton were to get hurt early Ole Miss could win this game.

Fixed it for you. There is a good chance Auburn would be struggling to get bowl eligible if Newton weren't playing. I don't think they are that great of a team. Cam Newton carries that team and takes them from a fringe bowl team to a national title contender.

So...Newton was worth the investment is basically what I'm saying. Even if they go on probation in 2 years, he's worth it. You should've bid more than you did.

Minus Newton, Auburn loses at least 4, maybe 5 or even all 6 out of MSU, South Carolina, Clemson, Kentucky, Arkansas, and LSU with a definite loss to Alabama still on the schedule and very possible losses to Ole Miss and Georgia still left. They wouldn't go 3-9 without him, but they'd be in the range of 6-6 with 5-7 a possibility.
