USM is going to the Auburn regional. Just wanted to ask any MSU posters that have been to the ball park a question. I saw the park online and it has a version of its own Green Monster in left field. Is this considered a hitter's ballpark? It sure looks that way. Also, if any of you have any hotel recommendations at Auburn, I would appreciate them.

The nicest place in town is the AU Hotel and Conference Center across the street from campus and walking distance to the stadium. If you are not there, then you have plenty of other options. There are some not so nice places that are also walking distance to the stadium, and then your basic Holiday Inn, Comfort Inn, Hampton Inn, Hilton Garden Inn etc. If you have any questions about a specific place or anything else about Auburn, either post it or PM me.

Thanks a lot. I just checked and the Auburn Hotel and Conference center was available. I appreciate the tip.

It's 385 to dead center.
Well, we only have two pitchers and one reliever. So if somehow we won two games, we would just have to try and out hit our opponent. So a hitter's ballpark might be a benefit.

Went over this year for the three MSU-Auburn games

You will enjoy your trip
Thanks. I am looking forward to it. I wasn't expecting to be in a regional, so going to this one is just a bonus and I plan on making a fun trip out of it.

315' to left, 335' to right.

Good luck out hitting AU.

Their pitching is shaky though. One decent starter (Drayton), one decent reliever (Hubbard).
