Curous if we can hire Al Pogue back? That would be AWESOME! I was disappointed when he left, he brought so much energy to the team, and seems like a good recruiter too. I sincerely hope NB can pursue him, he would be a great addition to the staff and already familiar with NB & the culture... I hope he comes back for sure.. Also curious if we may land a few of their commits and/or transfers... There are a few we could pursue...

A new OC would be a good idea. Could also bring back Pogue to get Casteel pushed back into an office.

Yeah, I think Pogue would be a far better recruiter then Casteel, but I still think keeping Casteel on board as an analyst is a good move... Hopefully we get him back, he brought the JUICE for sure :)

Im on the fence with Parker... We are still a very young offense, and we were very much improved from last season. I just hope we have it together by the time Garrett Greene takes the job.. Im not sure if Brown would give up play calling, unless hes comfortable with whomever he brings on board. We def need to improve on Offense tho, if we are to compete at high levels, and the creativity at times is def lacking, but maybe its a matter of working around the talent?? Not sure, its hard to criticize schemes, concepts, etc when its mostly fresh & soph on the field.. 17 points per game wont cut it tho, even if you have a good Def... There will be times when the Def cant stop the oppo, and you have to be able to score almost at will.

Parker is a very good recruiter but as far as WR/OC not so sure about. Yes Parker does call plays But Brown will have final say over it. Might need someone new over special teams at least on FG kicking. Seems to be problems with getting those guys on the field and get delay of game or waste a time out because of it. WVU averaged 26.8 a game. In the Big 12 it was only 23.1. On defense it was 20.4 and conference was 21.8. Those took a big hit in final game.

Only 4 teams in Big 12 averaged over 30 points a game in conference with one averaging over 40 That was Oklahoma. In all games both OU and Texas averaged over 40. To have a shot at any conference you probably need to average over 30 and keep your opponent exactly where they did all year. Except the ISU collapse. The only game all year they were not in it with a chance to win.

Some insider info that could shock some....Pogue wasn't well liked despite his upbeat attitude. Don't shoot the messenger
