Word on the street is that no tailgating will be allowed until 1:00 pm on September 9. If this is indeed true, I think it is a terrible decision. You have ESPN on campus, and the setting for a huge game, so why do something like this?

I think that this is the biggest game we will play this year. It could be the difference between us having a good season and a great season.
They should at least allow us to set up tents/mark our spots the day before as usual. Tent's in grassy areas wouldn't affect classes one bit.
Bama could be playing 1-AA Murray State and we could be 11-0 playing OM and they would still have more people on campus and in/around the university than we would. Therefore your point is null and void.
past years when we had the thursday night game they did the same thing. WHen we played USC and LSU. I skipped class and lined up in the junction at about 10 to claim our tent spot. We just sat on the side walk and drank and i wanan say they actually let us put our tents up about noon. Went home showered then came back to tailgate. Its really not a big deal nobody tailgates in the mornings anyway. On sat night games nobody shows up to tailgate till 1 or 2 anyway. There might be 50 peple in the junction before noon.
