Send PM to dawg@auburn or wait for him to post, seems like he had some insight awhile back about all of that. Watch out for those small town speed traps along hwy 80 if you go that way.

I have been to a lot of MSU games at Auburn, and I have found that parking at one of the outlying lots (I like the Village Mall) and taking the inexpensive (free) shuttle to the gate of the stadium is the easiest and best way. It's a quick way to get there and the lines move very quickly after the game. The 2011 game went down to the last play and no one left until the game ended but even that did not back up the lines. The buses are lined up and as soon as one is filled the next pulls up. I have copied and pasted info below for park and shuttle. The tail gates are all around the stadium and you can't miss them. I ordered my tickets from MSU and MSU sections include section 34 (I am on row 14).
Gameday Schedule

During Auburn University home football games, Tiger Transit runs special game day routes. These routes are available to all game day fans and are free of charge.Buses begin picking up fans at 4 hours prior to kick off, offer limited service throughout the game and continue returning fans to stops for 2 hours after the conclusion of the game.Buses drop off fans along War Eagle Way (by the Village Residence Halls). Buses line up along War Eagle Way in order to return fans to game day stops. Riders utilizing stops at off-campus locations may face delays before and after the game, due to pre and post game traffic.Tiger Transit routes which operate Monday-Friday DO NOT operate on game days.See The Auburn Gameday Site for additional information regarding game day.

I can't help you with parking because I always get dropped off - my girlfriend is originally from Opelika. For pre-game/post-game drinking I would recommend Moe's Barbecue and/or 1716. They will be crowded, but not as croweded as SkyBar (avoid at all costs). If you want to go somewhere that won't be very crowded, but is also not the most fun unless you have a group with you already then go to The Bank Vault (next door to Bourbon Street). Little Italy is a good spot to grab a pitcher and some pizza - its near the bars I have mentioned.

We park one block east of College Street in one of the church parking lots. it is like one block over from Toomer's corner believe it is called Gay Street and right near many bars/cafes. It was a little pricy like $20 but you also get to use their restroom which is nice. If you get there early enough there are some free parking along the roads right around that area.

The mens urinal at super club is the oddest bathroom on the plaet

The strangest pisser I've come across was at the old Subway lounge in Jackson. I remember having to climb over a sink to get to the turlet...

I literally cannot explain it. You walk in and the only thing is a urinal and the entire area is about 3 feet wide so you put your back to the wall and slide down to the end. If someone comes in while you are peeing and is in between you and the door, you wait until theyre done and slide back down. I couldnt tell if it was a joke or not. Makes ricks bathrooms seem like the ritz carlton.

Party bus is cool though. Auburn is awesome. Hamiltons has great scallops. Sky bar gets packed as well but im a supper club guy.

Ive stayed at the floral park motel before. Do not stay there

Edit - i changed my mind on floral park. It was 40 bucks to stay, they have free porn and the owner dropped us off at super club at midnight and actually went in and partied with us. They were in their 60s. They also drove us home at 4am.

Just dont plan on showering there and also bring a sleeping bag.

I plan on taking an RV down there this year. Couldn't stomach being forced to pay $400 to stay at the Microtel. Said RV has its own generator, water tank, and chemical toilet. I emailed the [email protected] email address Auburn has on their website to ask questions in where to park but they never responded. Does anybody have advice on where to park RVs there/best time to arrive/etc?

We got some pretty good oysters at Auburn Oyster Bar and Grill on College St. after the 2011 game. Friendly folks, for the most part. They could read the dejection and anguish on our faces after the goalline stop and didn't rib us too bad.

We took an RV there a while back, and parked on campus. Woke up Friday morning to students parking around us going to class. Had a blast. I think we called the athletic department to find where to park.
