Tech may very well go 2-0 vs. SEC teams in openers. The spread is 13. I don't know what to think. Auburn's gonna be a whole lot of suck this year.

The difference is that they are playing at Jordan-Hare. Auburn might suck, but I think their D is going to be serviceable and they should have no problem with Tech at home

Their OL/DL are not that bad. I was watching last year's LSU/AU game, and I remember thinking that AU did not look that bad, just their QB was terrible. Im pretty sure AU's defense will be pretty solid this year, and their OL should be ok. I just don't think they have a QB worth a ****.

I think the expectations are so low in AU, that despite a major talent gap, people are nervous about this game. I think AU covers this weekend.

If AU doesn't win, Chizik's record goes to 5-20, which is just awesome, and Im pretty sure he gets fired at the end of the year unless he beats Bama.

16 starters. 8 on each side. They are picked high in their conf. They come off thier first bowl win in forever. They have a very good coach that AU interviewed. They will not be intimidated by JordanHare. AU has more issues that the Starkville city council. Unproven QB, new coaches, no receivers, absolutely NO depth. This is a gave LATech can and will win. Book it.

La Tech beats the spread. May not get the win, but it'll be close. Probably a crazy low scoring game, but more than five points in this one.

Auburn is not going to be that bad. They return 8 starters on defense. Their defense was solid under Chizik when he was there last. Their weakness is the offensive talent. However, Malzahn has been successful every where he has been. He will come up with something to make AUs offense go.

going 3 and out and not taking much time off the clock w/ their no-huddle. That can really tax a defense, no matter how good. AU is currently living off their past reputation. La. Tech. pulls out a squeaker.

This is exactly why I think State has more than a real chance to beat Auburn in Auburn this year. I suppose we'll know more about our own team in 4 days.

We are picked dead last and a 75000 to 1 chance to win the SEC and Auburn is picked in the middle of the pack with something like a 50 to 1 chance. If we are gonna suck, then so are they.

....you beat us in our opener 13 years ago also, so you're at least 3-0.
