Auburn press conference

Just listened to the AU press conference. TT told AU that he wasn't interested in another job and AU was actually willing to let him out of the buyout if he was. Also sounds like the rumors of him wanting at least a year off and wanting to stay in Auburn were made clear to the AD. Good news for those who want to go a different direction.

It's interesting, to say the least.

Supposedly, they are paying the buyout (despite his technical resignation) conditionally on him staying in Auburn and working directly for the President.

Did you hear their AD state that there were, "no financial constraints" on their search? Is that not a dumbass comment. Now whoever they contact is gonna hold out for absolute top dollar. Maybe it really is no object and they just don't care though.

I can see Tubbs wanting to take a break and enjoy his family and money, but I don't think it's plausible that a new coach would like Tubbs hanging around.
