I know Bill Snyder said that auburn stole their signals they were sending to the offense from the sideline. I think somone else accused them of the same thing earlier this year. And we all remember headset gate. I'm confident Dan and crew have a plan to eliminate their cheating, just wanted to add to the list of reasons to hate the Boogers.

Yeah, I remember Snyder saying something along those lines, but it seemed kind of ambiguous whether he said they were intentionally stealing signals or were just aware of what was going on. I'm reading Malzah's book "The Hurry-Up, No-Huddle Offense" which he wrote in his high school days. There was a sentence there where he said "Although we are not in the signal stealing business, we usually have a good idea of an opponent's defense before the play by the third or fourth series of a game." Thought that was funny w/ what just happened.

It was Kansas State. Florida State was accusing them some, too. I think they are pretty notorious for stealing anything if it will give them an advantage. Whether they are actually doing it or not, they seem to be accused of "stealing" a lot. Like the whole headset thing that went down during our game, and didn't OM accuse them of something last year? I believe it had something to do with Tyler Siskey (?).

That was Alabama not Auburn.

Didn't seem to work this year.

Not to nitpick, but since when is stealing signals considered cheating? It's done all the time in baseball and teams have plans in place to change signs in situations where they're more vulnerable (runner on 2nd stealing catcher's sign to pitcher).

Yes, listening in on headsets is absolutely cheating, but stealing signs...I don't think so.

I agree. The headset thing--yeah, obviously cheating. But if my signals are so obvious that you can figure them out, that's my fault and not yours.

Stealing signals is not a reason to hate a team. If you aren't trying to figure out the other team's signals, you aren't trying hard enough. It's no different than baseball. Every dugout in college or higher has people in the dugout trying to figure out the sinal patterns. This is not different. But we can still hate them.

I agree. Stealing signals isn't really cheating and happens in baseball a lot. I guess I was more or less pointing out that they get accused of doing this and other things a lot. More than any other team I know of. I hate them. And I'm so friggin ready for saturday.

They have stolen signs from everyone else they have played.

I'm sure our coaching staff realizes auburn will be trying to decifer our play calling. This could be an advantage if we play it right. If we let auburn steal our signs after all the rumors of auburn stealing signs, we don't deserve to win
