I know the wool is long, but I just see a very obtainable win here. This bit of info just adds to it.</p>

WE DIDNT SCORE ANYTHING..
Auburn got called for HOLDING in the endzone..for the safety.
So they gave us the 2 points.

THANKS CROOM!

Leon Berry will probably be our most reliable receiver. He can run after the catch also. Played running back at Griffin High School. I just can't believe that McCrae will be 100% from the broken leg. I hope like hell he is, but I'm not counting on it.

And I am very excited about watching Leon Berry this season. He has potential to be a big playmaker for us for sure. Just hoping Lee can see him over the line.

need some info. on what's happening on the Plains. What are you hearing about Chizik and their offensive progress in the spring? I will be shocked and amazed if AU is able to move the ball effectively this year. This town has a lot of Auburn alums in it and they are being very quiet about the upcoming season. I will be very disappointed (and ridiculed mercilessly on the board) if we don't get a W there this year. From what I hear, they don't have the receivers to stretch the field vertically but they will have a stable of running backs and athletes on defense (as usual). My hope is that we force them to drive the length of the field every possession and contain their running backs. Can you give us a quick rundown of the Aubies?

that knows what they are doing. That is going to make a HUGE difference and I don't think most of us realize that.

Last year, for our defense to be effective, they technically needed to make the offense lose 10 yards on every possession. On top of that, you never knew when McAdams would have a 14 yarder like the Vandy game.

We should have beaten Vandy by three touchdowns that day. #!++ you McShank and #!++ you for giving Alabama a record punt return day. Damn school record punter, @$+++*%!$!*%.

Having a crappy kicking game puts a ton of pressure on the other 2 phases of the game (especially defense). Missing 25 yard field goals is demoralizing to your offense. Punting the ball as poorly as we did last year totally wears your defense to a nub. I have an 8 year son who can punt the football 20 yards. McShanks gave us back to back punts of less than 20 yards against Kentucky. That is absolutely inexcusable. He practically gave them a touchdown and the game to boot. As I said before, Mullen saw how awful our kicking game was last year and made it a priority to sign a Juco AA kicker AND punter. Hell, we couldn't even kick to ball to the goal line on kickoffs. Hopefully, we'll see a huge difference in the battle for field position. I think that we'll win a few that we aren't expected to win because of it and we'll hang in with the power teams longer as well. It still pisses me off that we kept trotting McAdams out on the field after his horrible performances.
