are you serious?

Reality: All shades of homerism aside, Louisiana Tech will have a VERY good team this year.
You play in the WAC. You got shut out by one of the worst Ole Miss teams in history last year. The hardest teams you play this year are us, Kansas, and Fresno State. Damn, that's rough.

You suck. Shutup.

I actually feel a little bad about how huge of a setback this is going to be for your program.

So you admit that your program is such a joke that a loss to la tech would be a huge setback for MSU? You must be proud

(at HOME no less -- what the hell is your AD smoking?)

Now that, I can agree with.

Not to get all serious here and ignore the fun stuff, but yeah man, what's y'all's opinion on this guy? We just recently ousted ours (whom, literally, was running entire athletics department into the ground), so currently Dooley is wearing two hats (there's some more 'small time' ammo for y'all to use). We've seen phenomenal results so far.

AD at MSU not a popular guy or what?

The AD that worked up that deal is no longer the AD. He has been replaced by his polar opposite.

We are talking about this year's team, not last year's team. I don't expect you to spend any time researching your opponent (why should you?), so you'll need to trust me when I say that these are two VERY DIFFERENT teams.

If we're going to talk **** about previous year's teams that have no bearing on our game on the 30th, I could easily pay the 'Maine' card, but I won't.

Smack from the fan of a team that got ***** slapped 24-0 by that great head coach Orgeron last year.. Even lowly OM disposed of Ruston Technical Junior College easily.
Seriously, this guy is just too good to believe. I hear they just got through having ServiceMaster steam clean that great high school stadium they have. I hope they used their discount coupons.

Perception: MSU = SEC = good. Louisiana Tech = WAC = Not good. If you win, congratulations, you beat a team that isn't so good. You lose, and you just lost to a lowly WAC football program. This is a no-lose situation for Louisiana Tech (at HOME no less -- what the hell is your AD smoking?)

No ****? Did you come up with this all by yourself or did you bring in another one of your white trash friends from ruston to help you out?

See now I can understand the cajun/waterboy smack (even though its not really accurate, as anyone who's spent any time in this part of the state can tell you), but what's up with this Ruston hate? I've spent time in both Ruston and Starkvegas. Hell, I've lived in both. There's not any discernible difference between the two, at all. They are very similar places.

God even the captions have horrible grammar. But points for effort.

Ridiculous outfit on that guy, but it won him some kind of big-time ESPN contest. Pretty sure he got a check out of the deal. So he's got that going for him.

You explain to me the difference. Oh. Wait. Ruston has a higher median income.

Is that it?

I lived in Starkville for awhile and worked in Ruston a good bit. Starkville at least has a college town feel to it. ruston has a ******** feel to it

is what La Tech students made on the English portion of the ACT?

Your all a bunch of dubmasses is my guess.

It turns out this information was very easy to find.

Incoming freshman average ACT (Louisiana Tech): 23.4

Incoming freshman average ACT (MSU): 23.6

I won't be baited by the ridiculous grammar in your last sentence.

idiots. But, no self respecting coon *** (we won't explore that unless you insist) would be caught dead in Ruston. Ruston is on the other side of the globe from coon asses as far as they are concerned.

Ruston = Baptist

Acadiana = not Baptist.

That's about as concise as I can put it. Ruston is (or at least was) dry. No coon *** could possibly live in a dry parrish. Hell, the phrase "dry parrish" alone is quite amusing. So, feel free to call them on their substandard school and how they could increase their academic rigor by uniting with their sister institution, Grambling. But, coon asses in Ruston? Ain't gonna happen.

No longer dry.

I don't believe uniting with Grambling would increase anyone's academic anything. That's why Louisiana Tech doesn't, outside of the ROTCs.

Dead on with the coonass comment.

The average ACT score of a student entering my substandard school is only .2 points less than those entering your vaunted SEC juggernaut. So where, exactly, is this 'standard' line drawn?

You guys seems really anxious about this a-whooping we´re about to receive. Thought about making the trip but then I decided I would just watch your game o´the year somewhere I could have a beer. Good luck suitcase college.

Years ago, I stopped at the Holiday Inn on the way back from Shreveport. No bar.

And you follow this question up with "Do you have any Suites and or Club Level..." because the Holiday Inn is where most "Suite" and or "Club Level" society members usually hang out with their "Suite" and "Club Level" buddies for a fine dining/drinking experience. And grammar has risen it's ugly head again..Parrish-Parish. I usually don't do the grammar stuff on blogs but this is absolutely fantastic. I'm surprised that one of your guys actually spelled ACT correctly.

You can have all the beer you want while tailgating. It's not enforced. Lord knows I get drunk off my 130 pound Indian ***.

Does MSU sell or allow alcohol in the stadium?

parish...parrish....that's spelling. Not grammar. And I suck at both.

Second, could you answer either or both questions? I really wanted to know. If you don't know the answers, that's fine. I just wanted to know.

Third, is there a fine dining/lodging destination in Ruston? Last time I was there, there wasn't. I was tired. I stopped. I learned. I drove on to Monroe. That's it.

A-what? Just keep yourself at the house and watch the game o'the year next to your cooler on the front porch of the o'double-wide and ring your cowbell every time you needs a-beer so your a-wife can grab you a-natural light while you try to point your a-dish in the right a-direction to a-receive the a-signal. If not then carry it over to a-Ruston and witness the a-whooping for yourself.

As for the standard line............exactly .1 points below our average......****, that was too easy.........never mind.

No, all kidding aside, I have spent ample time in Ruston years ago. I found the town actually pretty nice except for the liquor thing. If that has been corrected, it is probably a nice little town. Nice except for the "run over to the other board in advance of our *** whipping" 17tards.

although it has started a little earlier this year. There is always a fresh supply of opposing fan newbies to <17> with. What makes it even better is all of the stereotypical views of Mississippi that every last one of them invariably possess even though they inhabit or attended college in fine cultural centers of learning and art such as northern Louisiana.

Also, they bring a refreshing change of pace to the countless "summer" topics of uniforms, our business school kicks your business school's ***, etc. Also, it is a pleasant break from Coach34 finding new ways to tell us that our offense looks like a bunch of one legged hair lipped 17tards.

Thanks newbies.
