Saban must be losing his recruiting mojo if he's having to resort to following behind Stoops to steal our committed recruits. [winking][eyeroll]
If Alabama did indeed offer him, he'll be at least a 4-star in no time at all.
My hope is that Kentucky can eventually establish in Nick Sabans mind that DH was an anomaly and not the norm. He isn't going to come in here on a regular basis and steal our kids out from under us. I can understand the allure to the kids, and it will likely happen again at some point, but we need to defend our home turf and keep that slimeball Saban away.
Then hopefully if all our kids gets offers by Bama then we should be performing like Bama.
I tell you one thing, I'm no scout, but I was damn impressed by what video I watched on Dotson. Kid has a hell of a lot of talent imo.
Well said. I was very pleasantly surprised and consequently am very happy to have Dotson on board.
You don't have to a college football coach to spot the kid's talent, it's beyond conspicuous from his videos (kind of like Javon Provitt in that regard).
Perfect fit for CATS. Kentuckian, SEC body, I'm told bleeds BLUE! Of course, I'm partial to o. lineman.
I would say the kid is Kentucky thru and thru,especially as quick as he committed after his offer.
If UK falls flat or there is a significant coaching change is the only way I think you see him in anything other than blue and white. Wouldn't say the same for the other Belfry prospects.
Speaking of which expect Bentley to report his first Power 5 conference offer in the next week.

they know the sycophants who run the major recruiting ranking sites won't keep anyone THEY offer at a puny 2 or 3 stars, the kid instantly shoot up to 4 & 5 after the official offer is delivered.
I'm wrong - it was actually another Belfry kid, Cole Bentley, who camped down there. I'm biased as a Belfry grad, but I'm hoping we make a push for him, too. If you want to establish a running game, you can do a hell of a lot worse than getting a couple of hosses from Pond Creek. They are bred to maul.
