Maybe outside the stadium, they frown on that. I've never tried. Though I always see people scalping.

I flipped some @ Bama tickets once on ebay for 2x what I paid. But I waited until 2 weeks before kickoff.

in Arkansas, Florida, Kentucky, Missouri and South Carolina. As long as you're doing it over the Internet and aren't a big player, you should probably be OK, but if you try to scalp tickets outside the stadium there, you might have a risk.

Says so on the back of the ticket unless things have changed. But ... our university (and most others) seem to condone scalping by supporting StubHub. And I find that a bit strange.

If you can speculate oil you should be able to speculate if a game is going to be a big one or not. If you bought the ticket and you can find someone who is willing to pay more for it then you, you should be able to sell it.

I have a friend here in BHam in the ticket broker biz. He'll be at whatever in-state game he can profit the most from, and has several other gentlemen he rides to games with. He buys tens of season tickets from Bama and Auburn (among others), then immediately begins reselling them.
*Edit to say that he is licensed to do so.

Miss. Code Ann. 97-23-97 "It shall be unlawful for any admission ticket to any athletic contest of any college or university of the State of Mississippi or for any admission ticket to any entertainment event held on state property to be sold for a price in excess of the price printed on the face of the ticket. It shall be unlawful to sell any such admission tickets at any place or in any manner except at such places and in such manner as designated by the proper authorities issuing such tickets."

The law doesn't even say the game has to be in Miss., only that it has to be to an athletic contest of a college of the State of Mississippi. That said, it's only a misdemeanor so no one bothers with enforcing it. Stubhub sure as hell doesn't care.

is open to criminal prosecution. Can't hardly remember the last ticket on that site being sold for face value.

The Alabama Department of Tourism got the law passed due to a certain performer's group boycotting states that did not have such a law. It was passed on paper but yet not one person has been prosecuted.

Alabama also has an open container law. However there is a provision that open containers are legal at or near tailgating areas. football first in alabama

yes, it's easy. You can probably sell them on stubhub the day you get them and make 30% or more. Wait until a couple weeks before the game and you may double your money. It all depends on how well those two teams do throughout the season, but neither Bama nor LSU are going to be in the high risk category.

Now, whether it's legal or not is another story. Rather than bore you with details, though, just do it on stubhub. You won't have any issues and while they charge you 15% commission, it's worth it to me because it's so damn easy.
