Well done, NBC, putting this game on MSNBC. This was a tremendous game, and could've really showcased the excitement of the NHL - which NBC owns the broadcast rights to - but it got relegated to a channel nobody watches. Well done.

that it had been so long since we beat Canada in hockey in the Olympics. I swore that we beat them in Salt Lake in the prelimonary round, but I guess not.

I thought throughout the game that they could have at least put it on CNBC. I especially enjoyed watching commercials feature far left wing hacks like Olbermann and Rachel Madcow.

They had zero breaks during each of the three periods. No breaks means no commercials means no revenue. With every other taped or live Olympic event you would have a lot of opportunities to sale ads. Like I said, perhaps it was short-sighted, but it is what it is.

I've seriously not heard the first positive comment about NBC's Olympic coverage yet. Their insistence on tape-delaying events taking place in this continent is mind-boggling. Plus, their: 5 minutes of commercials, 60 seconds telling us what's coming up next, five more minutes of commercials, then cutting into something live-style of prime time broadcast is ridiculous.
Even my mild-mannered better half yelled at the T.V. the other night "Hey, professor Costas, why don't you shut the <17> up and show a few seconds of sports sometime tonight."
