The sad part of all this is that liberals really believe what they have been spoon fed about all the good that govt does. When the premiums go way up, its the insurance companies fault that they don't adhere to the govt's forecasts. Color me shocked

So, you'd say Medicare has been bad for our country?

Yeah, they certainly weren't going up before Obamacare either, right?
Of course they were, but you weren't being told that if we only make some more enroll, force more people to pay more with bigger out of pocket deductibles, rates would be going down. Govt just can't make correct decisions when it comes to running things. Every govt program has tremendous waste and fraud. No one is held responsible. If they were, things would be better but when was the last time a govt worker was ever fired for gross mismanagement or incompetence?

Sorry to disappoint you. This is my retirement job. Made enough money in my previous job. [thumbsup] I just can't bring myself to be pissed off at the world like you and the other conservatives on here.

It figures that state insurance didnt go up. Not sure what you thought I meant but your silly response says a lot about you.

Ouch.....I'm so worried you don't like me I may not sleep tonight.....:)
Ok. It was your response not mine. My wife had state employee bcbs at her previous job. We switched to mine and it went up 10%.

Meanwhile you have some opinion of yourself and those who disagree with you.

My wife just joined a Part C provider as a full-time CSR here in Cincinnati in late September, and it's obviously now starting to ramp up for their fairly new (2nd year) local operation.....though I suspect it'll be far more so after the New Year when the newest enrollees start tasting their new coverage for the first time.

As you'd expect, some callers are reasonable and some are far less so.....of course, that's how it is for pretty much any CSR in pretty much any business discipline. But it's a somewhat difficult time for her currently because, as a brand new employee, virtually every question she gets is new. Happily she's more informed today than she was 2 weeks ago, and she'll be even more informed 2 weeks from today.

But some of the questions can pertain to fairly obscure issues, requiring her to check with someone else (who may be in an entirely different office); and some of her callers just don't like to be placed on hold (or even asked to be called back).....while a percentage of them were in a cranky mood (as they probably are 24/7) when they dialed the phone. So tell me, are you Part C customers here reasonable or less so with the CSR....I'll bet I can guess [laughing].....when you call your provider with questions ??
