Yeah, growing up next to BAFB in the 70s and 80s, we all joked about not having to worry about surviving a nuclear war.Loading up the nukes
My first thought was that the photo had been “redacted”Stolen from interwebs....You know that's your a$$ when the sky starts missing pixels.
I was at Taladega race, when one did the fly over at about 1500 feet. You literally could not hear the engines till it was well past us.Stolen from interwebs....You know that's your a$$ when the sky starts missing pixels.
Bossier City, the white part of Shreveport. So Shreveport is where they dump the chemical toilet? Good to know.
New Year's Eve (technically New Year's Day) early 2,000's back when I lived in Greenwood we were seeing our guests out from our NYE party. While we were out I was just looking up at the night sky and saw a black triangle moving silently across the sky going northwest. About that time my dad looked up and saw it, too. Absolutely silent. I thought some drunk had climbed on top of a building in town and jumped off with a hang glider. My dad said he was positive it was a plane. A few days later my dad dad called me and said he figured out it had to be a B2 bomber returning to its base in MO. No clue what it was doing at an altitude low enough to be seen like that in the middle of the night, but I can't think of one other thing it could have been.I was at Taladega race, when one did the fly over at about 1500 feet.
