Nah… if you have ever been to Bridgestone you know that it’s not really that big of an arena. There really isn’t any “nosebleeds” because of the way it’s set up
We had tickets and a hotel for this game. After the play we've seen lately from this team we decided to put our tickets up for sale and canceled our hotel in time to avoid any charges. Tickets were sold for a very minimal loss and saved more money not driving there. So glad we made that decision after how we played and what people are saying who went. Just a disaster of a team.
Smart call! I cancelled my hotel for Atlanta and only have my ticket to unload. Unfortunately, I’ll probably lose my tail on the deal, but I can’t justify pissing away $700+ for this current product. Won’t do it!
I don't blame you one bit. I love the Cats but it's difficult supporting a team that doesn't even seem to care even when they are making far more money than me. Hotel, tickets, food and driving costs - just not worth it to watch these guys barely go through the motions. Can't justify the expense.
We have tickets for Atlanta as well and I’m really considering not making that trip after what I watched in Nashville

I think it has to be cancelled in Jan to avoid charges. I better check on that.
I hated losing $500 on the tickets for last Friday at the time. Now I’m glad I did.
Going would have cost a couple grand. And would have had to watch that walk thru.
#so05, Could you identify any players that were at least playing hard/trying? I'm just curious if it's the *entire* team, or if we have a smaller number of players who are the main problem. I was hoping an in-person view of it would help, because television doesn't let you see off-ball stuff, etc.
Sorry you had to lose that much on your tickets, bummer. Our tickets weren't as good as yours and we lost maybe $50 or so. But the expense of hotel and other things would have been worse if we had gone to that travesty of a game. I have season tickets at Rupp and was pretty excited for the Indiana game this year but I'm actually considering selling them and going to the UK volleyball game (assuming they are still playing for a chance to go to the Final Four). They would be way more fun and exciting. What's that say about the state of our basketball team?
All day Friday I was wishing I had not sold my tickets. We love Nashville and the excitement of gameday. We almost kept or room and drove down just to hang out. 5 minutes into the game I told my wife "we would be so mad right now if we were sitting there".

Ouch, on the tickets. But, you're right, being there and spending a lot to see what lack of effort they gave would have been maddening. I had uppers but right at center court. Didn't lose as much on them but am very glad we didn't go. And we love going to Nashville too. I'm thinking the turn out in Atlanta for the St. John's game will show how upset BBN is with the current team. Not only did they not seem to care about playing but they kind of showed they don't care much about the fans who filled the arena to support them. That's the part I'm really upset about.
Sorry you had to endure that shitshow. It was embarrassing. UK should refund everyone’s money that attended that travesty.

They all looked like they didn’t want to be there but Otega Oweh was by far the worst. The entire team looked uninterested and like they didn’t even want to play. It was just an embarrassing effort all around
I don’t understand this. I bought 2 lower levels (row k- directly behind UKs bench). I am a season ticket holder and paid around $400 or $500 total. I can’t recall since I bought them months ago. These were great seats.
Not saying you are lying- but I don’t know how paying that was an option. Maybe floor seats?

Paid $275 face (season ticket holder as well) for lower corner. Drove in from ATL and enjoyed the family weekend in NashVegas, despite the effort (or lack of) of our Cats. Seeing the ewe-tee fans sad after the Saturday game was maybe even worth the trip! Talked to a bunch of Illinois fans, all pleasant good basketball conversations.
I was a vocal boo bird of the Cats for the first time in my life. That said, still going to the game in ATL (easy since I live there). Might skip the SEC Tournament though. Hate our product, but still love our Cats. I would rather be a sad Cat fan than a fan of any other team. BBN is the best. Misery may love company I guess.

They weren’t floor level. In fact, $600 each was sone of the lower priced LL tickets a month ago.
Probably $500 each before fees.
I’ll check with you before next time. If I can pay less I’m all for it.
We had some friends that went and paid almost $500 for 2 Club Level endzone. Thru StubHub.
I sold my back thru Ticketmaster. I listed them for what I paid. But then about a week before the game I changed the listing to best offer. $700 was it. I think they got more than that for them. But I'm supposed to get $700. I haven't yet. They said it's a week after the even before you get paid. No idea. I've never sold tickets back thru the vendor before.
I was there this wkend, oweh was just too cool to be out there to start the game. Warmups looked like we were playing a game of 24 at the park, no one working on game shots etc. Chandler plays hard and actually I thought BG played hard as well even though he’s not a basketball player. Lowe tried but he looked so rusty and his timing was off all night, but again I didn’t see anything from him that wowed me or made me think a true pg would be the fix.
