1. Defensive pressure
2. Rebounding
3. How our 6,7,8 players contributed.

1. Not very good. As a matter of fact, so bad that it offset the fact that we outrebounded them. We were lazy on defense. Late in the game when only one person in the world knew why Sidney was playing (Sidney sure didnt), we just seemed to quit on pressure defense.
2. Bright spot here. about a b+ performance. but they got some putback points that killed us too.
3. Only Steele, Lewis really contributed at all and not that much.

**** The one thing not considered: they are a damn good team and well coached. They seem to have heard about Mullen's relentless effort and turned it into relentless defense. Their players were not selfish and they were patient to take the good shot.

WTF moments:

2.5 seconds before half 5 timeout and we dont use one to set up a screen for a shooter to get a clear shot.
Stans doesnt come unglued at the ref letting akron off by blowing the whistle at the 4 second mark of an inbound play
Sidney stays in the game 4 -5 minutes longer than he was able and fans started losing their voices pleading for him to be taken out.
We didnt seem to think it important to find ways to get Hood and Bost open on the perimeter. Looks like we just expect their defenders to back off out of respect.
Moultrie didnt get the memo on being a lazy 17. He seemed more than anyone in maroon and white to care.

ETA: we are not a sweet 16 talented team no matter how coach34 needs that to be true so he can ultimately say the reason we didnt get there was coaching.

But one thing is true: we are not well coached. Just watching both teams, Akron's was the better team all the way around. We were lucky to have been within 10.
