14 can play. His feet looked like a quarterback practicing pitch and catch. He was very comfortable and made plays. 16 needs more touch on the ball.

1 is going to be a very special player. But he needs to get better at blocking. All of our receivers need to do a better job of blocking so we can do some things on offense.

Our offense is as good on 3rd and 15 as it is on 3rd and 3.

They did not have an answer for 90. He is going to be as good as anybody in the league. 94 was very good. We are 2-deep on the defensive line.

25 can run. 7 can run and he can play.

Our defensive backs need to stop letting receivers get behind them.

They are tired of being hit by number 4.

Our punt coverage team is as good as we've ever had at this school.

Our defensive backs need to stop letting receivers get behind them.

Why they didn't expose this more I don't know.

Because our DL didn't give them time to throw.

-Production value on the Dawgzillatron is amazing. Bravo to whoever is responsible
-I agree about Relf
-I agree about Bumpis, although I'm not sure that the holding call wasn't complete ********
-No ****** ice smell
-To the lady in front of me: The refs aren't out to get us (although, I questioned this myself at one point)
-To the guy behind me: Thank you for you in depth account as to exactly why Sly Crooms was hired (thick sarcasm) I particularly like the bit about "Looks like Crooms offense all over again" I didnt see anything resembling Crooms era ball.
-To the JSU fans who decided to plop down two rows in front of me: The little old couple who actually had tix to those seats handled you refusing to get up a hell of a lot better than I would. Instead of accommodating you, I would have probably gotten arrested whipping that "i ain't going anywhere" smirk off of your faces.
-To the fans of Mississippi State University: Why the 17 do you dipshits bail at the beginning of the 4th qtr. This is your only chance all season to witness a blowout in our favor. I am really starting to believe we have some of the stupidest/shittiest fans in the SEC.

on the DB's. They need to hold better on their zones. Tackling was fine and everyone can hit. On offense, I liked what I saw from Bumphis and Relf, but I seriously thought we should have gone vertical a little more. Relf wasn't too accurate on vertical passes. I mean, I'll take what we get coming out of the backfield, but if we want to pass the ball in the SEC we need to go vertical on a fade/post/streak a little better.

nothing on me was dry. 24 was dressed out and ran out on the field after every score to congratulate. I liked seeing that.

And I have no idea what "a haircut" means.

But, it is pretty clear to me that by not announcing it before the game, that Mullen was prepared to make sure the University and the team was not punished by 24's infraction. He would have used him if he had to. He didn't, and he announced the suspension after it occured. Smart.

I thought the D did well too considering there was very little stunting and almost no blitzing. Very vanilla. I'll bet we see something different next week.

Mom and Pops just moved a few seats down. The old man kept showing the lady his 4 tix that they had for the two of them, but the lady wouldnt even look at him.

cloaked in secrecy? He knew he wouldn't have to use him. But, he was not going to lose because of that crap. There are other punishments than what was adminstered. And he did say that the punishment was not strictly the failure to play in the game.

Agreed. When Broccoli made his FG late in the 3rd quarter, the end zone bleachers were empty. Yes, it was a sure win against a IAA opponent but ****. Fans complain about never having an offense or scoring points at MSU and you can't even stay 3 quarters to enjoy it?

Nobody went to the ushers or security personnel and said anything? They should have been made to show their tickets for that seat and when they obviously couldn't, been escorted to their correct seats.

Im just saying that we played everyone and their brother at tailback today. Dixon was the only one on the sideline with a squeaky clean uni.

/Speaking of which, did the unis look as bad *** on tv as they did live?

because we didn't need him. He got a frebee suspension. With the way the game was going, he would have played me before Dixon. Well.......maybe not. But, you get the point.

I dunno. TV, live -- it all looked the same to me.

I think he wants us to understand that he's going to play his cards close to the vest. The primary objective is to keep your opposition guessing. Sure, we were in no danger of losing this game, but we never know what we may face in the future. The less our opponents know about us, the better.

That's my guess anyway.

...because McPhee didn't remind me of Jevan Kearse, or even Willie Evans today. He played well, much better than some on here has said, but he wasn't singlehandedly changing the game.

Mullen didn't announce it all week so JSU couldn't prepare for that but it was an "official" suspension before the game. He would not have used 24 in any situation.

JSU has a QB that has lots of practice experience against your basic Titus Brown. He did a good job of running away from the rush or getting rid of the football.

Come on folks, sacks are great and all but no sacks doesn't mean there wasn't a hell of a lot of pressure on the QB.

Unfortunately couldn't make it to the game, but holding calls weren't BS . . . lots and lots of jersey being grabbed on the edges . . .
